In these pics it's also the fit on the guy, note that it accentuates the muscles in the right places. A lot of guys miss that.

edit: also if you dont have the muscles dont wear something that accentuates that fact too.

For a casual date, you don't want to over do it. I like the effortless look on a man, and still looks put together and stylish. Its like they got out of bed and just threw some thing on, but it works well. I like them covered up too, I think it's sexy, especially if you can tell they have nice bodies underneath.

I just can't stand it when their shirts aren't tucked in though. If the outfits warrants it, tuck the shirt in, otherwise it looks kinda frumpy.

I like to keep it douchy with a black Zara V-neck, dark jeans, darkbrown/burgundy boots & Ixion's leather jacket

This douche knows how to douche it up

LOL! My boyfriend won't touch v-necks with a 1000 foot pole! 😆 I'm certain he will look so damn sexy in them, but he won't do it. *sniff*

minimal chic, please.

cotton t-shirts and v-necks. hngggggggggg.

black or dark blue jeans on long legs.

sneakers or boots.

no fruity shit.

just basics.

Depending on who you ask, some men think v-necks are "fruity." ?

These V's are a controversial matter. Never been a huge fan myself tbh.... guess it depends on the size of the cleavage.

Resteröds roundneck is another favourite, I love what it does to my douchy delts.

If my date looks like a New England WASP I will be under the impression he's just dating me just to piss off his parents.

Omfg I see these office rats in restaurants during lunch hours wearing this shit. They look a red nose and some face paint away from Bozo the clown.

That a new white collar thing? Scarlet pants and tablecloth shirt?! Really? REALLY?

Depends where you guys are going.... Plain shirt dressy jeAns and nice rubber shoes... I love a man with a nice watch though it means he values how he spends his time

Tbh, ties on guys are tired. (Unless it's required for work or important event) It's been so played out. You won't need one if you know how to pick out statement pieces.

Like this class act.

It's not particularly new.

In the US, men who usually who dress this bright and preppy are from upper-middle class families who reside in the northeast seaboard or old southern families. Like, back-patting, good-'ole-boys, private-university-legacy, granddad's-money type. They most likely drive a BMW and own a horse.

And then there are those who just like to emulate their style . Why? IDFK.

These guys are the biggest fukboys of them all. Just tards, I shit on them every opportunity I get.

I soo approve of this. Especially what you said about "effortless look" and the just got of bed look. Soo sexy when their hair is not perfect but it looks wild and sexy 😉

I like the rough look on men. Don't like men who spends too much time infront of the mirror.

True. The whole key is to have timeless pieces. Being able to change the whole look by just adding one piece.

I know guys that think they're manly bcuz they dress like a basic house husband. It's not unmanly to want to look nice or put a ltitle more though into a wardrobe. It's quite the opposite actually. Some guys just have great taste, and stand out without looking like they're trying too hard.

Trends are also not always one to follow. Everyone basically looks the same. There's subtle ways to stand apart from the crowd and still make a huge impact.

Soo over the whole tie thing, even fukboys are hiding behind it. Time to change.

This thread is about what to wear on a first date, not about the person's character. Of course character should be most important, that should go without saying.

There are people who have, both, great character and a great sense if style . Being able to dress well is just a small facet of who they are overall, just like people who look like they dressed in the dark. Lol.
