Not a bad idea, Diva.
Maybe just throw a dart at a map and see where it lands.
Do you have a list of activities in which you would want to attend, learn, or experience?
If so TMV, make a quick search of it on the internet and see where that lands you.
Another option is be as open minded as possible and search for the best deal that you could find, at a place where you have never been, book it and drive / ride / fly to the destination. Go from there.
Go someplace beautiful, watch the sunrise, take something with you as accompaniment and wait for the sunset to arrive.
Visit a museum or a cafe, open the local papers and find an event which you would never attend. Go to such an event, meet strangers, and see where that takes you.
Taking a nap.
Fishing
What a boring life you must lead.
You could spend your time thinking about how to be exciting, and spontaneous.

To take a break...I'm four hours into my week long vacation and lost. The house is already clean. The bills are done. I'm bored with TV. Already read all the books I have.
What do you do when you have nothing to do and nowhere to go?
take a bottle to a nice spot outside, drink until you can drink no more, then take a nap - either where you are or crawl back to your room ... it will all be different when you wake up!

Just spend money or buy some crack.I mean weed.
I won't judge your journey.
yeah if you have a lot of money and nothing to do, go somewhere, go call up a close friend and go somewhere. the beach, check out some music festivals, or bands that are playing.
lots of stuff to do out there.

Taking a nap.
I second this.
Pick up a short term hobby. Something you can learn within a few hours and carry on for the rest of the week.

Hmm...
My Virgo friends depend on me to make plans with them and get mad when I don't if it's over 1-2 months 🙂 I actually have a Virguy friend that keeps track... Funny thing is, they don't reach out! Why??
He says it's because he's being considerate of my schedule so let's me reach him. Sigh, too passive for me... I find the ones I know stuck in their routines and not very willing to take the lead on things unless specifically pushed to. I'm kind of like their spontaneous friend they can depend on to get them out of the house!

Yes! The ones I know like to nap.
I'd suggest:
Join a club
Do something nature based - hiking, rowing, skiing/snowboarding etc.
GET A PET and do something active
Get a Saggie friend 🙂
Build something

Additional tip if you do that -- no.specific.timetable.
Did a vacation like that a couple of years ago, and with the exception of being in certain places on certain days, each day's activity was whatever struck my fancy. Reserved rooms on the fly in the certain places.

Vegas baby!
Paint with watercolor!

I just love how this medium easily gives whatever we paint a fantastic feel, like a memory, dream, or experience we're trying to recall. It's messy and imperfect but the feelings are all there.
