Hey hey don't bad-mouth our Earth sisters, will you?!

I read that in one astrology site and another guy here on dxpnet said the same thing! I was just wondering, how could we be both earth and air, if that's the case?

don't wanna dispute anything about "air supremacy" or whatever you may call it. let's put a stop to potential sign-ism here. we don't want war. 😉

Hahaha. Perhaps it's because you're ruled by mercury, ruler of gemini..an air sign.

Now I'm depressed, we share rulership with Cap, that can't be good. LOL!

I've always found practical and intellectual more closely related than emotional and impulsive. Earth and air seem to rely on their heads more while the other two "do what the heart wants".

As far as Virgo goes, they definitely are the brains of the earth signs. Hysterical, but also the most logical and mind-oriented of the earth signs, which I believe is also the most "airy" quality about them.

What do you guys mean by "stuffy"? What does that mean exactly?

Boring. You know some people are described as being a breath of fresh air due to being vibey, etc..a stuffy person is the opposite..they're like carbon dioxide in human form. Walking dead lol.

Never met a boring or zombie Virgo in my life. They're always the life of the party.

Virgos to me are more interesting than cap & taurus. I still don't like the virgos I know irl, but they're still more vivacious than the the caps & bulls I like. Cap being the most boring of them all.

In case I offended anybody... I'm talking about the people I know, so don't wear it if it doesn't fit. Save the drama for your mama 🙂

Oh no worries...everything I wear is tailor made so it fits perfectly. Oh & my mom totally loathes drama so I usually give my father a bother...haha. 😛

LOL, good for you! I heard something in one of the make-over shows on tv "Just because it's available in your size at the store, it doesn't mean it was made for you". I found the statement to be hilarious & true.

Hmmmmm...funny thing is I've actually met "stuffy" air signs. How ironic...

That made me think of libra lol. I honestly don't believe it's about signs, but some signs do produce nytol-like natives..Zzzz

True. But I believe it all depends on the person & placements.

I agree. Just out of curiosity, which placements would make a person dull?

Girl I was being sarcastic...lol. I WISH all of my clothes were tailor made, hahaha. I'm petite so I always find items that fit great. Not too small...not too big...just like a glove. 😉

Maybe you aren't as stuffy as the other two, fluffy earth. LOL! Or it could be wishful thinking..air is the best element after all 😛 Who calls you "airiest" anyway? It must be stuffiest & the most boring one of your earth sisters.

I know why you're doing it, but I don't like being thought of as a sister. 😭

LMAO. What's your sign? I thought you were a Pisces, being Tuna.

It has seemed to me as though each sign has a "secondary element", as follows:

ARIES: Airy Fire
TAURUS: Fiery Earth
GEMINI: Earthy Air
CANCER: Earthy Water
LEO: Earthy Fire
VIRGO: Airy Earth
LIBRA: Fiery Air
SCORPIO: Fiery Water
SAGITTARIUS: Watery Fire
CAPRICORN: Watery Earth
AQUARIUS: Watery Air
PISCES: Airy Water

This idea was sparked off by my once reading that Scorpio was the "Fiery Water sign"!

I think Virgo bridges the gap between Earth and Air in a way. We're the only non-air sign that isn't represented by an animal. Air is typically renowned for mental energy and social causes. While other Earth signs are also predisposed to rational thought and practicality, Taurus focuses more on the body. They are highly sensual individuals with great focus on material wealth and abundance. Capricorn also holds a more physical view, their intent on the act of working for their wealth. Virgo may represent the harvest but Capricorn would be the workhorse that plows the fields and plants the barley.

Virgo's nature is one of cool logic. We need constant intellectual stimuli like our Mercurial siblings, the Gemini. We appreciate beauty, style , and class just as much as perfection like the just Libra. And being the sign of service, Virgo lives to see that those around us are taken care of in our own aloof way, not so unlike our Aquarian counterparts.

Aquarius, the water bearer, rules the 11th house, the house of friends and society and whatnot. They're generally benevolent do-gooder types that want to see people taken care of and the world saved but are often depicted as being emotionally cold, aloof, and logic oriented.

Virgo, the virgin and symbol of the harvest, rules the 6th house, the house of service, health, and responsibility. Virgo also wishes to see that people are fed and cared for and that the base work which the world depends upon for function is completed while also being labeled as being emotionally cold, aloof, and logic oriented.

The way I see things, Aquarius and Virgo have a great deal in common. Those two signs just have different ways of approaching the same problem and solution, abstract air and practical earth, water and food. Basically, Aquarius are the Romulans to Virgo's Vulcans.
