When your mind is busy at night, try relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation. Creating a calming bedtime routine and avoiding screens can also help you fall asleep faster and reduce racing thoughts.
I have the same issue these days but when I was on a routine of meditation and stretching before bed, I would sleep longer through the night. In addition to those two things, I'd make a sachet of dried lavender and vanilla and put it under my pillowcase.
Also write lists of what you need to get done during the day. Note in your phone any thing you wake up thinking about to get it off your brain

Nothing works... I start watching movies which lead to movie marathon..
The movies might be more stimulating though. Unless there are specific movies you're thinking of that can put people to sleep.

Those are great suggestions. Are there any particular stretches that work best, and aren't too stimulating?
Sachets of dried lavender and vanilla sounds lovely. Will see if I can find a site / tutorial on how to make those.

That's actually what kept me up.
Listed things to do for tmr, then all of a sudden I had to research information for things I won't need until next month and in the summer.
Thanks for the tips!
At this point, if my mind won't slow down, might end up popping melatonin and meditating (like you mentioned earlier).

Not necessarily.
You can do some at home via Youtube videos. You want to get to sleep afterwards after all. click to expand

Oh okay. Wouldn't the workouts be stimulating *before bed?
I don't think there's much you can do when you're a Virgo

I have a few that I rotate between. My best suggestion is to Google it.
I have a few local places that I get my lavender from during the seasons. I'm sure there are tons of vids on making them.

Yeah. It's worth a try. serotonin works for a few of my coworkers. Not getting sleep is the worst.
Sex is the only thing that can completely shut my brain off. I go into a completely different world and since that isn't happening for me....I've been working late and usually I'm so tired from that...it doesn't take much for me to fall asleep. Lol.
Exercise, for me at night, usually wakes me up. Last night I couldn't sleep so I listened to music until I guess I passed out lol. Reading sometimes helps too but then you can get stuck down the rabbit hole of looking things up...like when you get on YouTube and you start with one thing and end up on the weird side. Writing list doesn't help...just give me anxiety of all the shit I need to do.
I guess I really don't have any suggestions lol.
Visualising a field full of untouched snow with a cottage at the end of it glowing with a a soft light in the window
Masturbation...sometimes works
Counting sheep doesn't
Reading always calms my mind

I'm pumped after a workout. I can never sleep. I don't know how people can do that. I don't get tired at all. My adrenaline is running at top speed and I'm ready to go!
