I would caution to watch for praise also. Not just people who talk shit..those that go overboard in praise are right up there in the projection business class.
Take it with a grain of salt...and sometimes people bringing up some negative areas of Virgo behavior will make one look twice on their actions/character. Might open new doors for understanding of self.
tldr; humans are insignifiant.
Maybe if you tried focusing on what makes you feel good, rather than what makes you feel bad ... you would find yourself in the 5% of awesome.
I notice a difference between September Virgos and august Virgos. Both are alright by my books, but personally I prefer the September ones. I think virgo moons are worse on the critical front compared to the suns...as for why ppl don't like them, not sure why actually. I notice they can give off a cold vibe, but actually they are thinking the opposite, kind of like caps. With virgos I think there is a sense of aloofness that is unintentionally projected.
whoops I meant personally I prefer the August ones lol...they tend to have more fire in their charts.

My mom is a Virgo.
She is very creative and interesting person that has a really bad way of being critical of people for no reason. She even told me that she convinced her coworker to watch fat people getting in their cars to criticize how they plop down LMFAO. She has a bad way of making people look like they are overreacting when she says or does something negative or hurtful that causes an emotional reaction. She also is super hung up about how she looks and status.
Her outer appearance betrays her inner turmoil. She comes off as emotionally mute but on the inside she is trying to figure everything out. She is trying to devise an effective plan that can calm the situation. She is deeply misunderstood but she wouldn't be misunderstood if she was courageous enough to express how she really felt. Most of the hate Virgo experience is brought upon themselves by not taking the initiative to help people understand who they are. I don't think virgo are bad people they just don't do very well at helping people understand them.
For example my mom what might want something but she won't say it, or she'll say never mind. One might think she is saying no or never mind because she actually doesn't want it but really its that she doesn't want to be seen as needy a burden. I have to pull teeth to get her to reveal what it is, but I understand her enough to know where she is coming from.
Obviously all virgos are not my mom but this is my experience with Virgo.

She sounds like my Virgo ex-boss (Virgo sun/Leo Moon). She never had anything nice to say about 99% of the people she met, was overly critical about looks and her status (she runs her own boutique advertising agency) and yeah she was an expert at nagging.click to expand

A simple answer to the question is because virgo girls are hard to deal with you will want to kiss the ground they walk on one day then when they start acting you just want to choke them out figurative speaking of course. I've met handfulls of Virgo girls that have been in abusive relationships or are single moms because of the fact that people can't handle/deal with their shit all the time.

all I really have to add is that I dated a Virgo for 3 years and it was the worst 3 years of my life. he manipulated me, cheated on me, blamed me for all of his issues and would criticize everything I did along with making me self-conscious. it took a lot of healing after that period to even think of another relationship. I then dated a libra for a short time who was much kinder to me, and we remain friends to this day.

I think its best to just embrace Virgo traits but be aware how it could overpower others. Every sign has pros and cons and Virgos are no different. Our minds work differently, we are perfectionists, we like to analyze, and test people and thats just how we are only people that can fully get that will stick around the others just can't handle it. Virgo's have a side of being understanding, loyal, and fun that few see. For instance when I meet people I come across as cold and aloof but when I'm with friends I'm a different person.

CC....let me help clarify one thing for u....what you consider as us seeing things as "gray" us Virgos consider this typically as being "objective" enough to see both sides of the coin....to do that YES personal "feelings" have to be put aside.
