Things I would tell my younger Aqua self.....

-contacts are not so scary, you will meet a tone of dudes when you stash the specs.

-your tall with big boobs...no worries on the dating front

-don't put that damn perm in your hair! luckily all your hair grew back

-Dad was right, when you break up with someone, "there will always be someone else"

-yes you will become a shopaholic and a chocoholic

-chemistry becomes your passion, so moms kitchen curtains didnt catch on fire and her copper pots didnt blow up in vain.

-that girl you hit in the face with an egg will be your best friend

- your mom didnt let you have coffee when you were younger for a reason...Now your an addict. You should invest in the Proctor and Gamble company because of the amount of money you spend on Crest White Strips you should try to get some money back

-you should work harder on your use of profanity, it is a bitch trying to control it now.

-speed racing was a great idea, best decision you made. all that sneaking out the house was worth it.

-practicing kissing at the age of 8 behind the shed in the back yard... worth it.. your a pro 🙂

Mine:

1. I know that your ability to observe like a hawk & over-analyze a situation from every perspective is a gift & has spared you from so many toxic situations & so many bad decisions. But know too that over-analyzing doesn't guarantee that your mind/logic/imagination will be correct or come to the right conclusion. Slow down when it comes to not being able to feel comfortable doing something until you've dissected them to death.

2. Don't feel obligated to explain yourself when others accuse you of being different only b/c you're trying to be different. Remember, they labeled you as different FIRST. It's just that you finally agreed & went along with it. And even if you're only different b/c you're trying to be, who cares??! The question isn't why are you trying so hard. The question is why what you do is so much their concern

3. Avoid overly-emotional folks. No, they will not balance you out. And if they do, it's only temporarily. Eventually, you'll go back to your usual logical self & curse them for not coming back to earth yet. It's best to just find people up front who are not this way vs. trying to transform everybody from the emotional to the logical. They won't/can't do it.
