how about an experience? concert together? sport game together?

I'd go with that, create something that is uniquely for you two. A bond perhaps. That is something worth cherishing.

I remember when my dear pisces gave me a leaf off a random tree. Told me it was special. I still have it today. Or a bottle cap my grandma gave me from when I was 5 and told me I'd be rich one day if I recycle every single one.
Wing it. I'm gullible as shit so it might not work with him.

another year i got a mini cooper mouse.
It's cute. No reaction there either. Doesn't use it but kept it on the computer desk though.
I guess it goes back to the other situation, if I get no reaction, I don't know if it meant anything to them.
Makes me want to just take it back and return it lol.

It's hard for me to show excitement over a gift. I try because it's important to the gift giver to feel like they've done good. Wonder if he has a lot of capricorn in his chart?click to expand

I'm bad with showing excitement over gifts plus I have a complex about my reaction ...that it's not going to be emotional enough lol.
Uptight much? 😛

Me too!
Cap moon emotions are cool, controlled...I hate it. I want to be excited. To show pleasure, to show sadness, to show love...but, something pulls me back. It's hard because I know the other person wants to see it, but I just can't show it. I don't mind hiding the sadness, but I would like to be able to show excitement and I can't.
Even my son has accused me of being unemotional. He says I don't show any emotion except anger and irritation. It made me really sad to hear that. I try to show love, excitement, happiness, exaltation but sometimes when I try, it feels faked, like I'm trying too hard. I really want other people to know the good things I feel, I hope my actions represent, but more emotionally open signs don't always know what to look for.
So, that said. The fact that he keeps those things and displays them should SHOW you that he values them.click to expand

It's tough because he's not the outwardly sentimental sort.
He has few interests i.e. sports
He literally has money to buy anything he wants, but he only buys necessities cuase he's practical (is that the right word?)
But then again he's really into simple things like frozen yogurt, baseball, theme parks
So I want to get something that truly will have an effect, cause last year i got him this bobble head of characters from a favorite movie and it quoted lines from the movie and no reaction lol. Though the fact that he still has it a year later means something?
His aqua friend showed more interest in it though lol.click to expand

In one of my birthdays, my friends gave me this one box full of seemingly random silly stuff, almost a rubbish, but tell things about me. I was laughing the whole time while I pick up each one. And that I think is one of the better gifts I had, and it almost cost nothing!
Aquarians put a lot of thought in their gifts, and price is not even a factor. We wanna show off how well we know the person, because that's our only way of showing affection really. It would mean much if you reciprocate that kind of effort 🙂
