Yeah they can easily calm down us crazy folk...until their lack of communication CAUSES the crazy...then they like "what, I don't understand why you are upset", then they calm you down again and disappear again. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. Go play with your new gadget Aqua boy and I'll talk to you in a month when you realize we haven't talked in a while lmao.
Gemini you don't like it when they disappear? As an air sign myself, I can definitely appreciate it.
I am so stimulated by their laid back personalities. Extremely aroused.

Linda Goodman said " Aquarius can reduce the anxiety of the criminally insane....and the Aquarius has a marvelous knack for calming hysterical people." Why? Aquarius have you noticed this gift? Others have Aquarius calmed you when you went over the edge?I'm not crazy, but my aqua has a calming effect on me just the same.
When I'm irritated or upset, it's like he'll quietly listen and understand (he actually hears me) and then he can say one quiet little statement that gives me a different perspective and I'm like, "oh, okay" then I'm calm .

wow truecap can you give any example of that quiet little statement that calms you and changes your perspective. any example ?

From my experience, Aquarius are very stingy with their energy, as in, they don't project their energy to those around them. This creates the effect of screaming into an empty void. Most people are sensitive to other's energy, whether they are aware of this or not, and when an aqua does not project their own energy nor reflect the energy of the People around them they either comfort or infuriate others. ^_____^
Naw we are just very selective on whom we share that energy with. 😛
LOL @virgo without a personality/sense of humor. You do realize many see Virgos in just that light, no personality or sense of humor. They just don't know, under that serious demeanor is a horde of treasure!
Your brother is Aqua if i rememebr correctly? or maybe that wasn't you.
I have a cancer, a Taurus, an Aries, and a sag brother. Perhaps what you say is true, but that hasn't been my experience. Honestly, I can usually find something fascinating with every person I meet, but Aqua have been a bit of a shadow - like the extras in a TV show. Virgo have great senses of humor, in my experience. I haven't met one who didn't! Any time I meet someone and think "they are very Virgo like minus the personality/sense of humor" they turn out to be Aqua! @___@
i gotta say this, with some aquarius theyd rather be on an arm length with everyone, youd never get to see thier true colors and humorous side until they trust you and let you see it. which may take ages.
like damn, i havent gotten to see that side of my aqua bud til the end of HS! when she decided that im worth it 😆darn it, i miss her!

Oh yeah, people tell me that... But I have a calm presence in general. I also know some crazy hyper aquas. It depends on the other placements, as always. I have a Capricorn stellium so... 😄
I think it also has to do with being able to stay emotionally detached when someone else is emotional. Without being cold, if you know what I mean. It's hard to describe... I think aquas have a high emotional intelligence, and can easily understand others without getting emotionally involved themselves...
Empathizing without absorbing negativity. ^^ Hm..I think that's a skill every placement can learn, it'll just manifest differently.

That's why I love aquarius'.
I'm not crazy but the calm effect is soothing.
It's not that we are calming, it's that when a person is losing their mind over something we very logically put whatever it is back into perspective for them. It gives the illusion of being calming but it really isn't.

It's nothing in particular. I'll be upset about something and he's just so dang calm and thoughtful. Sometimes I don't think he even has to say anything. Just his presence is enough. I'll notice and wonder why he isn't upset and the fact that he's not calms me down.
Or sometimes he'll say something like 'well, tomorrow's another day" or "this too shall pass" or "just be patient, it's all going to work out". I never know if he agrees with me or disagrees with whether I should feel that way, but the fact he lets me be without judgement is really nice. Like a breath of fresh air.
i like that he doesn't try to solve my problems. He listens and hears and understands. In complete honesty, it's all I need. So many men want to solve your problems, but he won't volunteer that unless I ask.
I'm not talking about me being upset about our relationship. It might be about poor service at the store, or dealing with insufferable contractors, or me upset about a work situation.
I noticed this gift within me when I was in grade 4, so that means I was 10 yrs old. Others sense this gift in me as well.

Maybe that's your perception, but my feelings are calmed after I talk to Aquarius about shit that nobody else seems to understand.
