Did he say he's looking for a relationship after you told him thats what your looking for? People like to parrot back what they think you want to hear.
And even if he's looking for a wife, the fact he is not initiating and saying he wants to be your party buddy indicates he sees you as just that, a party buddy.
IME aries are the aggressors and move things along. Again, only he knows truly what he is about. All you can do is factor in his actions as a strong indicator of what he is looking for from you. Which is a friend to party with at this point.

Instead of trying to force things why not let it happen at its own pace? It's not the answer to everything if you have a relationship with this man or not. You both know you will see each other at this party so that is the next step.. anything before then is just filler. Life is not something to be controlled and forced

Funny as I had just busted my Aries balls asking him if he had ever approached woman?
