We are expats and live over 20+hrs trip away from his family/home. We tried to organise meeting up in summer when they were visiting Europe but it fell through.
I am excited to see the place he was raised, how his parents are, what his little habits are that he took from them. All of this is a MAJOR part of who he is that I have no clue of so far! -so yes, i’m excited!!
