A little late, but you need oxygen for the chemical reactions taking place in your body, such as the oxidation of the food that you eat from having the munchies from smoking the pot. You also need that O2 for the combustion of the marijuwanna.

Hmmmm, can you lose weight by just breathing faster, you know, oxidizing the food that you eat faster?
