Married for 34 years and still counting.
IMO, they seem to lead parallel, non-intersecting lives. Yet it seems to work for them, so who am I to say whether it's a great match or no. Every person's version of great is different. Plus, neither me nor my lovely brothers and sisters would be here or have been brought together if it weren't for my parents getting together and staying together. 🙂

Sorry didn't answer the second part. No it was not a great pairing. My dad was/is very violent. Leaving it at that. I also think it was closer to the 15 year mark that my mom finally had enough and got out.
Both of my parents are Geminis. Mom is an artist and my dad is a scientist. Married 42 years, I think. They have their ups and downs but for the most part they get along pretty well. It's not a raging romance but more sibling like in how they get along. Sometimes they irritate the snot out of each other and other times not. Still going strong, though.

Both fit their signs well so the marriage was a disaster due to lack of responsibility and finances on dad's end and mother's controlling and passive aggressive ways. Love em, but I tell em outright that they were not very compatible in desires for their future life choices. Lasted 7 years.

Dad: Cap sun/Cap moon/Cap Venus
Eh, not so much-- they were together about 13 years.
Both got remarried within a month of each other-- bleh.
They get along well, now, though.

They were married for 25 years before he passed away.
When it was good, it was really good. When it was bad, it was really bad.
Father : aqua sun & moon.
Mother : virgo sun with sadge moon.
They were together for some time, not sure how long since they were not the type of parents to discuss such things with me. Hell I don't even know how they met. IDK much about their relationship because they kept everything private. I got to know about some details that lead to their divorce through eavesdropping on my mom's conversations with her friend. Most of the time I was either told to go to my room or to go outside & play when there were issues to be discussed. It saddens me now that I know so little about them.

Some days it's hard to tell.
On one hand, he's a workaholic and she's insane. She might be partly insane because he's a workaholic, and he's probably a workaholic because she's insane.
On the other hand, you don't stay together for nearly thirty years and have six children together because your relationship doesn't work. They fight constantly and I imagine the dysfunctionality between them that I was exposed to while growing up helped to psychologically form my warped ideas of what real love is. But there's no question in my mind that he loves her for better or (mainly) worse and somewhere deep down she's the same way.
Or maybe they just stay together because they're both too stubborn to give the other the satisfaction of a divorce. Tough call.

My mother is a Sagittarius and Dad is a Leo....They parted ways when I was very young....But my dad still loves my mother. But mommy, not so much.

I don't remember them ever being together, just married. Mom said she would never love another man, found god and never looked back. Dad said he would always love her but wanted to be with many women. He made good on it

Started off great, ended up in bitterness, divorced, married again and finally divorced 10 years ago.

Yeah for real. I was 6 years old when it happened. AS you could imagine I tried to keep the peace, but knowing my mom was only going to get more irked at the time I stepped out of the way.
Two Fishes. Mom had about 6 or 7 water placements. Married until the day she died. 20 years. To say she was emotional wouldn't quite do it justice.
They weren't in love anymore but were really good friends. It was probably doomed from the get go. My dad invited all his exes to the wedding. My mother and the bridesmaids had on jeans underneath their dresses just in case anybody decided to do or say anything.
Mom = Sag
Dad = Aries
Seems like a pretty good pair. She lets his temper tantrums roll off and doesn't seem to notice. He likes taking care of her and looking after her. She ignores his bossiness and goes about her business. She caters to him, which he absolutely loves.
Married: 48 years.
My grandparents were both Aries. Married 60 something years.
They had an awesome, sweet, doting marriage. They knew to either stay out of each other's way when one of them was pissed, or they knew how to calm each other down. Either way, it seemed to work.

okay i haven't looked into their charts before and i am honestly blown away. for one, i had no idea my parents moon signs. should have looked into those before. i really thought my mom would have a water moon or something bc she really is empathetic with her children. i am blown away my dad has a water moon bc he seems like such a typical aqua to me. just cannot process emotions. doesn't get them at all. also really really REALLY creeped out that my mother and i share the same venus and mars placements. and my dad also had the same venus placement as me and my mom. strange huh? anywhoo??_.. fun thread, gonna go stalk the other answers now.

They'll remain together until death, but this has more to do with their generation than with their signs.

I've played with their charts before and it's mostly a positive outcome!
They've been married 39 years this year. They never really openly showed their love for each other, and they have heated conversations (not really arguments) maybe 1-2 times a year? lol My dad has plenty of patience for my mom's EXTREMELY indecisive and worrisome personality lol He's extremely laid back while mom is more of an "out there" person. They've set the bar high for me!

They've been married for 18 years and were together on/off before that. They argue a lot and have completely different goals and personalities. I would say they're a pretty bad match, but that's my own perspective. My mother says she loves my father even if to me it seems like they just stay together for finances or because they think they're too old to find someone else. So, who knows!
