Do you think that sometimes suicide is the right thing to do?

I think the wrong thing to do is to invisibilize emotional health until it taints statistics.

We can't judge suicide itself, we don't know what did that person go through, what did they feel, what kind of help was available/offered/asked for, which were their responsabilities, future perspectives...

My general stand is if I'm not going to care for their well being along the way, I won't judge them after there's nothing more to do.

No. I think it’s selfish. Each day is a new chance to change your circumstances. Things get better, there are always other options.

People who commit suicide are pretty strong though. They are not weak like they appear. It takes a lot of guts to end your own life. It’s just unfortunate that this is an option they choose. It’s so selfish.

The loved ones you left behind hurt and don’t understand why you would do something like that.

But your life is yours. You don't live your life for your loved ones. It's selfish of you to expect a family member to live in pain bc of how you'd feel if they ended their life. No one asks you if you want to be born; we are born alone, we die alone. That's about it.

Nobody likes seeing their loved ones suffer, be it through pain or suicide, but don't make it about you. Those are your feelings, you deal with them..
