He has admitted, on multiple occasions, his insecurities, serious control issues and bouts of paranoia. Even when she gives him all the time in the world and all of herself, it's not good enough for him. He goes from being afraid that she might cheat on him to saying that he's not good enough for her. Like a pendulum, back and forth.
He was given advice many times to let her go because his insecurities will eventually hurt her in a big way.
And then he does this.

At this point I feel sorry more for the wall than for him.

I watched the whole thing, it was kinda inoffensive but a feeling of rage and disgust took control over me. I just acted like everything was fine and relieved my rage on the wall.
