Mars and Your Dad

Some astrologers say that is the sun, others say Saturn and a lot of them say it is Mars because its the 1st example of male energy one's perceive in life.

I strongly believe that Mars is a 100% accurate on how we see our fathers. Mine and my GF is 100% acc.

Take into account that Mars would indicate the Picture you have of your father and not how he really is and another thing is that it isnt math

Example: Alice has Mars in Aries, her father wouldn't be an Aries sun but would be someone with Aries traits, at least, for her.

I'm a cap mars. My father is a cap sun and a typical one.

I have Cancer mars n my dad is a Cancer sun...so yeah!

Makes sense! I’m pisces mars, and I think my father is a manipulative, emotional little bleep (which imo is the negative traits of pisces). Bonus: my brother has taurus mars, and our father has taurus moon.

I guess your brother is more in tune with your father taurus side than the pisces.

Most of the times, the father is the 1st man in one's life so that is kept in our unconscious as a role model of a real man.

Mars => 1st man => Father => Ideal of man => How one do act to be respect as a man or the real man that would get a respect of a woman's father aka her lover.

My daddy is indepedent, work with his hands, has manual dexterity, good at sports, very active, smart, communicative, flirty and etc...

Her father made his life by taboo ways, looked at life as a game where the main goal was to have fun. Gambling, partying, drinking, having fun were all themes of his life. He was abusive, manipulative and egocentric too

Hmm youre right, it's opposite chiron which is in virgo... The other aspects are:

Trine moon

Trine jupiter

Conjunct saturn

Conjunct mercury

Trine ascendant

Does that make it unbalanced? I'm not aggressive but wouldnt say I struggle with assertiveness. I prefer expressing myself in a mild way as a typical pisces mars though

I would need to check your natal chart to get a clear Picture (im running out of time now) but Chiron in Virgo can make one act as you describe your daddy.

Chiron is our wound where you can teach others how to heal but we aren't able to heal ourselves.

You may have trouble with being analytical, overly critical and practical...So you focus in asserting yourself as a Pisces in order to avoid the Virgo side. You can heal when you become a little bit more critic, analytical and do the dirty work when its needed. Virgo is about improvement.

We often lack the Chiron about ourselves but are able to spot it on others.

You may lack the traits that you've said your daddy own.

i definitely see why i was born a scorpio sun as some of those traits are the way my dad wanted me to be: suspicious of others intentions and to always look below the surface

my mars is in sag... never really associated my mars to him, but he always starts projects and never finishes them. so do i. when i was younger we always traveled. i play violin and would travel with the orchestras i was in. we’ve been to italy, china, canada several times and did other traveling within the U.S. as well. my brother also has a sag mars.

i think saturn most accurately defines him. my saturn is in aquarius, and he is an aquarius sun. his saturn is also in aquarius which i thought was weird. i arrived much later after his saturn return. his saturn is early degree aquarius and mine is late degree aquarius. it’s funny because before i was born they kept telling my family i wouldn’t be able to walk, and i would have a lot of birth defects. i’m fine. since it was close to his saturn return i wonder what else he experienced.

as another side note my IC is at 2 degrees 12’ aquarius. my father’s sun, venus and saturn are right within that line, putting them in my 4th house. his mercury and jupiter are also in aquarius. only his mercury is conjunct my saturn.

for me, my whole chart represents my family in a way.

Mars in sag in 12th house .

My dad is a pisces and we have never met but just started talking this year. Hes a psycho path . In and out of jail. To me he has sag like qualities . Always on the move , nature lover ,very active and philosophical but i definitely connect the 12 house and him .i also have saturn in my 12th and sun on the cusp .

My Dad is a Cancer...

My Mars is Sag and Saturn Scorpio.

Dad is overly emotional, quick tempered, and hides in his shell when upset...very much like a crab without the nurturing part though. Very routine in ways...nothing like a Sag in my eyes.

However, husband is a Sag...

I'm Mars and Saturn Cancer. My dad was a Libra.

Mars in Scorpio 12th

When I was younger he would just pick me up and invade my privacy against my will. I would tell him to leave or to stop and he wouldn't listen. When I was at my most vulnerable and crying, trying to hide away from him and with my doors locked to keep him out, he would just unlock the door with a screwdriver and come up to my embarrassed crying face and interrogate me. My dad's leo mars is in my 8th so he does go through my things and invade my privacy. He never let me have secrets or go against him so I guess I've gotten internally resentful and learned to do things behind his back. He also has sun conjunct pluto and can be a real forceful dick sometimes. It annoys me. But he's also weak in a way..

My friend has mars in leo in the 8th and her dad is insanely wealthy, able to support a house wife and 4 daughters. Has multiple degrees, owns a business, owns several restaurants, and can live a middle-upper class life. He's essentially the one paying for everyone and hosts several get togethers with the community. He has a good image but behind closed doors, he was abusive to his daughters and wife. He would beat them, call them names, and he's very traditional and controlling towards her. For example, at the age of 20 she wasn't allowed to work, would prefill her gas tank to restrict how much she could travel, wouldn't be allowed to have men as friends, would check her class schedule to see what times she would legitimately be out, got angry and degrading when she said she was moving out, and would always ask for proof when she was doing something.

i have mars in scorpio but my relationship with my father has completely lacked deep emotion. i have always craved intimacy with him and not gotten it so i prefer men who do aka scorps generally haha dads a libra sun aries moon... nothing close to what i want in a partner nor father figure.

I think l got the Saturn father....it's my Saturn 100% ...and some Sun.

I have Sag Mars. and look at the bold part for what my father has in common part with yours.

well, my father tends to give preaches, which is very Sag like according to texts and is also my annoying tendency.
