My college mate had Aquarius Sun/Mercury/Venus/Mars and she was literally a walking encyclopedia. She knew and could do ANYTHING, at that being creative and always finding time to help others.

I realize the OP stuck the "just for fun" disclaimer in there, but some folks are losin' it in here, so it's time to be that guy for a moment.
Sun sign has absolutely nothing to do with "intelligence." That's outside of its orbit. 😄
Additionally, Mercury-qua-astrological-planet is the planet of articulation and communication, not intellect.
Mercury's placement indicates the general style of communication, while the quality and depth (though I can't stand using that word in an astrological context) are indicated by Merc aspects (amount and kind, specific contacts, etc.)
