soul ties?

Have you never gotten over someone? No matter how hard you try you just cant let this person go, you still feel this persons energy even if you have not seen them in over a year. It feels like you have known this person your whole life or when you first see them they look familiar. This is probably a soul tie person, has anyone ever experienced this? if so, what did you do to break this soul tie?

Yes!!!! I have... Still am... because it just feels like no matter how far apart we are or how long we go without talking... We just are magnets... & it interferes with my current relationship... & I would love to see what people write about breaking the ties

I never attempted to break it.

I just accepted it for what it is.

There is strength in not letting go if you choose to look for it.

Superficial suggestions such as- removing gifts/social media lol- etc

Doesn't take away from knowing that each night when you lay down your greeted by that persons face- and when someone stains you like that- It's just acceptance at that point.

I don't know your situation. But for me- to move forward, i had to accept that those feelings would always be in existence. At the point i was ready to move on.

Is that a "soul connection"? I don't know, but I'll find out. So if time doesn't erase your feelings for someone does that make you soulmates?

What about the influence of Neptune in all of this. Could that be a reason? And we just call it being soulmates because we can't admit we're mistaken? There's a lot to ponder here.

Hmm.. I'd like to think that our wavelength with that unforgettable person just matched so well.. Nothing more 🙂

But..yes, there's time to discover this..keep observing this.. Maybe, why we do not forget some person is never a question that can be answered.. It's a mystery if we think about how they get so etched on mind or how we keep crossing paths. Some things are meant to be mystery and that is beauty of our universe :-)

...when we say they could be soul mate I feel it is nothing more than an attempt to *answer* or justify the way we feel or what keeps happening.. Mind wants answers for everything xD

Conscious effort to let go.
Love yourself
Imagine cutting off ties with them. It works!!
Works the same way you reach out to someone- sending out energy.
Stay away from social media
Remove all traces of them-pic,gifts, messages, cards, anything.
Stop visiting their pages.
Make sure mutual friends don't mention anything about them.
I truly believe residual love messes up with our attraction pattern. We have to let go completely.

its so hard when time passes by and you still have an urge to pursue something youre not 100% sure about :/
i think if time doesnt erase your feelings then maybe its something worth pursuing again?
Maybe because im a fixed sign and i just cant let go of this one, that could be it too lol

I have been connected to this person for 2 years now, and for what ever reason, I am not letting go.

You say you are not letting go, does that include you not seeing other people? or not letting go as in spiritually not letting go?
Also why do you think it is damaging to cut those ties?

Honestly, we share the same energy, just a different wavelength of it, when we've been employed at a job for a while that is not satisfying, and draining, or with projects that have no positive end results. And what do we do? We put up resumes, start looking for a happier work environment or more fruitful projects to work on. So I find it so fascinating that we can't apply the same logic to soul ties and relationship bonds that really has gotten us nowhere other than the fact that it was an occurs ce at some point in time.

You know what's worse though having met someone you actually never felt with anyone turns out he's on a brink of divorce mutually live in the same household and lies to avoid hurt feelings why. I also have trouble if it is someone you work with too and red flags hit at work rather than outside of work. Maybe it should just stay at work

Actually depending where you're signs are can help some with when something is off and you stuck to the ground it helps you out probably more than you know. If you ever felt things aren't up to participate with you or experienced things but let them go because you know they just lying or not able to trust them that is an fixed omen. Lol it helps you out believe it or not.

I don't know your situation. But for me- to move forward, i had to accept that those feelings would always be in existence. At the point i was ready to move on.

Her suggestions weren't superficial. Some things need ACTION. In this instance, yes, stop stalking your ex boo thang's musty Facebook page if you truly want to get over it.

I never stated to not do those things-

I assumed the op was planning on doing it anyhow, and in addition- had planned on cutting off communication.

My point- again...

Was just because you erase their physical memory, doesn't mean it will change or alter the way you feel.

You need to learn to accept your feelings, and choices- as an extension of yourself.

You won't be able to repress them, and they simply won't just go away.

It's just one of the known consequences of getting close to people- friendship or otherwise.

I'm still in the process of breaking the tie. I think I just need more time. I did what I needed to: I completely broke off all contact, but it's only been a few months. I think part of the reason I haven't fully let go yet is because of the lack of closure. The main solution, though, is time. I know eventually I'll finally be able to "cut the cord" and move on.

That's the hardest thing to do, when they don't give you closure.. Especially when they know it's all you truly need. But time heals all.
