Quick question. Which one is better from your experience? Which is more fulfilling?

I've had plenty of Venus/Pluto relationships, very great...unforgettable. But I wasn't Pluto in nearly any of them.

Just once.

But Venus/Mars relationships have me like

Just want to know what you all think. I'm a little smitten over here.

Which ones last longer?

Edit: My mars conjuncts his Venus and his mars conjuncts my Venus.

Just really depends. Somehow some way im always the pluto person in any pluto relationship and I have learned that that means my state of mind greatly affects the relationship. The pluto ones tho always have a build up.

Venus-mars is more of it is or it ain't. There is no build up. Oddly enough tho they both end up the same. Pluto just takes longer
Just a quick question, how does it feel to be Pluto in your relationships?

Venus Mars is more stable...Venus Pluto is heartbreaking
Completely agree... also, those venus/Pluto relationships are like a drug, very addicting.
Yup, TnT! Very addictive 😢

Obsessive, possessive, passionate...

What's the orb of influence you use for this aspect in synastry?

I have natal Venus conjunct Pluto in Scorp, so I basically have this aspect with most people of that generation.

Depends on the charts of those involved.

If both have a strong pluto, then regardless of who is the Pluto and who is the venus, Pluto relationships will fare better. If one person is way more pluto dominant than the other though it's almost a guarantee it will be messy and fall apart.

Especially when you compare it to venus/mars, which are still passionate but much more lighthearted than Pluto relationships, even with the harder aspects like squares and oppositions.

As for longevity, that's more of a Jupiter and Saturn thing. Those planets tend to create harmony and responsibility to each other in a relationship.

How do you determine what a strong Pluto (or any planet) is? Is it in regards to aspects, orb value, Pullen chart, or if it's exalted etc?

I'm in a pluto/Venus thing now with someone , it's intense. It is like everything you ever wanted and being afraid to lose it as well. We do get each other on a spiritual level. It's sextile and semi-sextile on my end. So it's like doubled but her influence stronger since it's the sextile to my venus. I'm unaware of any mars-venus relationships though. I probably had them. This is intense though on a whole other level.

It's like when you meet them and you just feel like they were made for each other. Idk if it's the pluto /Venus or the double Venus /moon trine we have going on , but I swear I feel like I can feel what she does and I just instantly know what kind of mood she's in. Which is crazy bc she's an aqua moon so she's not big on sharing in the feeling department. I can feel it though. No words.

What does it feel like to be the pluto person?
Imagine it like a lizard bathing in the sun. The lizard is pluto soaking up the sunshine from the Venus. pluto feeds off the Venus person and absorbs their warmth. Ever seen twilight ? Edward is the pluto person, Bella is the Venus. So like that. Idk how else to put it.

what happens when your in a situation where it's both?

venus mars trine

venus pluto opposition?

Are you sure you want a Gemini to answer this Q? 😛

The chart would tell the whole story.... What if Pluto were to rule the sixth house? Or The Asc is Scorp? Type scenarios....

Pluto-Venus opposition can cause heartbreak...but it is one of the most magnificent love you can ever experience...Paired with Venus-Saturn harsh aspects could be unrequited love even.

Venus-Mars would be a sexual aspect in a romantic synastry...Again house rulership will determine it.

People underestimate house rulers and dispositors!

Some months ago I did a research on this (Venus-Pluto, Venus-Saturn), and I came across this unrequited love theme. Why specifically these aspects? And who would feel the "love"?

For me, none. I have had plenty of people aspecting my stuff with their Pluto, Venus and whatever else but I've never felt anything beyond the ordinary.
House overlays.
Stop making excuses.
Tons of people have their pluto conjunct my venus. I only feel something if there are significant house overlays.

But what we both have plutos in scorpio and venus in taurus ( oppositions)

and then conjunct venus jupiter...

and a bunch of trine venus saturn jupiter uranus combos.

What wins in the end?

venus Saturn trine.

and there's a bunch of other Saturn, Uranus ,jupiter, trins and conjuctions that act to stabalize or at least they are supposed to.

it's like we are sooooooo compatible and not at the same time.

someone else on here I think described what I feel for her when they were describing venus pluto relationships....

"it's the best and worst feelings all at the same time".

the most unstable stable relationship I've ever had.

it's maddening.

With synastry, I go by number and exactness of aspects to Pluto. Or aspects to sun/moon if either are in Scorpio (or another sign if your talking about a different planet).

For Pluto I use a smaller orb. 4 or less. Unless it's attached to a stellium then I might grandfather in other stellium planets. That doesn't happen often and even then typically past a 5° orb there doesn't seem to be as strong of an influence. Only one or two qualities typically apply and everyone has at least a few pluto qualities.

Every astrologer measures slightly differently though.

Thank you!! When you say exactness, you literally mean the same degree of orb?

What sort of relationship did you have with them and for how long?

Some of them are friends. My longest relationship is more than a decade long, the shortest around a year or so. There is even less intimacy with another group, I called them friends because I have know them for years too but our relationships are not as tight.

The point is, I have never felt romantic or sexual feelings towards anyone regardless of how good the synastry is. I always hear people talking about mindblowing connections and love at first sight, but I've never felt anything like that even though I have seen more than enough to confirm they do exist.

I'm in the getting-to-know-you stage with a woman I'm falling for harder and faster than I'd like.

Her Mars opposes my Venus; my Mars squares her Venus. My Pluto opposes her Moon and trines her Venus; her Pluto only contacts my Jupiter.

We have other strong contacts, too, but those ones are relevant to this thread.

There was a spark or something (for me, anyway) from the moment we first met. I haven't told her that and, if she felt the same, she hasn't told me. I don't think either of us is the type to talk about things like that at this juncture.

Venus/Mars was evident from the very beginning in a strange physicality between us, particularly coming from her (I wouldn't just put my hands on some woman I barely know). She was handsy from the start, something she seems to hold back on a little now. I think we're both monitoring our actions more closely.

It's slightly disconcerting for me to be the Pluto person. I've never been in a situation where Pluto didn't go both ways. I think I feel the Pluto influence, too, and I try to stifle it. I don't like to come on strong. She seems extremely affected by whatever I say or do, which I figure could be my Pluto compounded by her heavy water placements. It's actually nerve-racking for me.

From my experience, you're just more serious and obsessed in the relationship. You want your partner to be as intense as you are so you spend your time trying to possess them and you want to possess them. But that may just be me. I would also say the Pluto person feels like the Venus person needs their love.

I've been Venus plenty of times, we LOVE the attention from the Pluto person. They make us feel like the only one they desire. The venus person may come off as a bit superficial in the relationship and it's a little frustrating for the Pluto person. I'd just say the Venus person is overwhelmed by the Pluto persons love and doesn't really know how to love as hard. Idk. Again, that may be just me.

Cancer 0º

I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to feel when in love. I "love" lots of people I guess, family, friends, the children I take care of, the seniors who teach me things, people I've never seen but I have exchange pleasing words with... but I know I can live without them. I may be loving already in my own detached, impersonal way. Anyway, is not something I worry about.

Venus/Pluto for me

I've had Venus/Mars both ways and as comfortable as it was there was no progression. I blissfully looked away from every red flag because the sex was great. So what people say about Venus/Pluto doing their head in..that was Venus/Mars for me.

Sounds counter intuitive for me to pick this since I am Mars/Aries heavy but I think it depends a lot on the signs Venus and Mars are in. I don't think Aries Mars thrives in Venus/Mars relationships because they come into it from a position of power and fuck themselves up with it.

Then why the fuck does the Pluto person drop me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME?

I thought about dropping the Venus person once. It's because he wasn't giving me the vibe I wanted. Or maybe you guys weren't that compatible in other areas? You would have to ask someone more educated than I am. I'm sure other factors play a part but I think of the Pluto person feels hopeless about your relationship, they'll just let you go.
