All signs have some aspect that can respond with emotional ice (when an Aries ices you, you are done).

But the ones that default to coldness and have the potential to never warm up:

1. Virgo

2. Capricorn

3. Aquarius

For the record I would have put Virgo as all 3.

I think intense rationality is being confused with emotional coldness. I have a lot of virgos in my life, both family and friends. The best friendship I've ever had has been with a virgo, and I would never call any of them emotionally cold. They are just so incredibly rational and logical about everything in life, big realists.

I think virgo are very emotional . they just express it in a calm way. I had a virgo confess his love to me but he did it in just a calm way it felt like he was talking about any normal subject.

they talk about their feelings all the time but because they talk about it in such a control manner it doesn't feel like it.

now a cancer, they can talk about cake or homework and you feel emotions coming from it

but then again im a virgo so I might just understand virgo a little better but a lot of virgo I know are emotional, they just dont dwell and it and repeatedly talk about it over and over

I nominate Aquarius . 1% , when they love they love hard 99% they dont feel much emotion, they rather think about something else or like my aqua friend, when deep stuff happens in her life, she just naps and is capable of forgetting about it.

im jealous of that

I know Virgos are getting a bad rap here, and it's really making me enlightened to the fact that there are some *really cold & critical* Virgos out there. Here are the ones I can think of off the top of my head with fair consideration given to what they really act like.

Virgo 1- 70 years old female. No time for anyone's bs. Tell her you're broken hearted and she will throw facts at you, and tell you to "toughen up". Always worried. Shuts down when angry. Manipulates people using guilt tactics. Extremely bossy. When she cries, her lip tightens up, almost as if she despises showing pain, as it's a sign of weakness. Laughs easily. Extremely protective. Responds w/short, brief texts. 100% loyal. High anxiety.

Virgo 2: mid 40's female. Cries at the drop of a hat. Extremely emotional. Gets off on writing mushy sentiments in peoples bday cards and watching them tear up, and will even throw a "score 20 points" cheer if she succeeds in making you emotional using her words. Suspected sociopath. Master manipulator, uses emotions to get people to run to her rescue and control them. Long, drawn out texts. Uneducated. Flips out when ignored, or when attempts at controlling others don't work. Laughs easily. Fools people with kindness. Slithering snake. Would purposely manipulate & provoke jealousy in order to control her husband, however initially changed her entire look to suit him and try to make him happy, desperate for attention. Did not keep herself looking nice, let herself go, and turned to alcohol. Husband left her. High anxiety.

Virgo 3: early 40s female: Professional image. Refuses to show pain, but instead portrays depression/sadness. Loves deeply. Very happy/social when in love. Easily tolerates abuse. Hates to be coddled. Bad temper, hates to be made to wait. Hears someone's pain/problem and wants to immediately offer advice/solutions. Highly emotional, deep thinker. Educated. Does not laugh easily. Comes off as very standoffish but always knows whats going on in every corner. Would never cheat but may try to provoke jealousy to test someone and see if they react, as a way to validate herself in his eyes. 100% devoted/loyal. High anxiety.

Virgo 4: Late 30s female. Very critical. Good listener. Will tell you you need to change but doesn't see her own faults. Married to a well known Taurus who has many women swooning after him, sees him as a weak child and is disgusted by him. Attempts to control every move he makes. Highly overbearing. Nasty temper. Doesn't cry easily. Uneducated. Extremely worried about health, but angered if others are worried about their own health. Laughs easily. Wants to end her marriage and likely prone to cheat if given the chance. Not loyal. Would provoke jealousy in her husband to use it as a weapon. High anxiety.

Virgo 5: Late 40s male, extremely impressionable. Overly romantic. Desperate and smitten. Bad temper. Uneducated. Would beg for love if he was forced to, change his entire self to try to please someone. Goes above and beyond to gain acceptance from someone he wants. Would attempt to use jealousy to gain attention or secure love. No individuality. High anxiety.

Not sure if this helps clarify similarities and differences. I believe a moon sign may be explored to see how each is affected.

I think the 'coldest' people are sometimes the most sensitive ones that have been fucked over too many times. Cause that's the flip side of sensitivity that no one really thinks about... the self preservation. Completely obtuse signs don't do that shit. They don't run away or "preserve". Because it never occurs to them that they should. Or need to.

The signs that truly don't understand emotion are kind of like tourists on a foreign island with a shitty, airport translated guidebook. They might not have any idea what they're saying or doing, but by God they are there and they try!

*none of the above goes for Capricorn males, btw. They are like fat city pigeons in human cat bodies. They shit on everybody and feel completely justified in doing so.

i think that's more incompatibility.

venus in virgo peeps i read will always test and test and you need to keep earning their love,

listen to what benjamin simon says ..of water venus and earth venus difference.

Thatcher had Libra sun with moon in Leo as did my father in law....not the warmest of people..quite brutal actually

My mother also had Moon In Leo with Sun in Cap....she was a mix of emotionally defensive and cold

Agree you on libra with leo moon. Very cold. Gives image of a darling in public, but behind closed doors...watch out.

We virgo's are not cold we are reserved that's something different apparently you have never been close enough to a virgo. We virgo's just don't open up for everybody simply because we do not want our emotions to take over we are sensitive even when we don't cry we are sensitive for people that need help we are sensitive in a way that in general we care deeply about one another.

The way we show love is by talking with our loved once and helping people, we are everything but cold people are often ungrateful.Same in relationships we are warm people we are just tough on ourselves so we can often be tough on you to because want things to be done the right way. We are always 10 steps ahead and know a solution for every problem we just want things to be stable.

When you are responsible,funny,intelligent,honest and well spoken we like you the most, as for a relationship if we truly love you only you will see the sensual side of the virgo and everything else.

I know someone the opposite way she's a virgo with moon in libra and scorpio ascendant she is very cold i think it's rather air then earth that's cold since air rules the mind

1.Taurus ( narcissist ex ) the worst

2 .Virgo ( can be at times)

3. Either a Aquarius or Scorpio but in reality they are actually very cool people.
