What how dare you do that to yourself. I went through that too. I didn't trust my ex. So what I ended up doing was calling off work and putting my studies off. And just working and then going straight home consistently.
If you are a cancer you are a nurturer so by nature well tend to want to take care of many people or things or douche bags even if we already know that gut feeling something isn't quite right and sometimes you have to wait it out until proof shows up or finally guilt.
