Pet names and the Capricorn man?

So I've been talking with Capricorn man, he NEVER has called me a pet name lol. He knows my name too. Anyway. He called me "baby"? I got butterflies not going to lie. However reading through all these posts. I noticed Capricorn men don't really do the touchy feely in touch with their emotions thing. Maybe it's me, but I typically only call someone baby or babe. If I'm dating them. Do you guys think I'm just reading into it or could he be getting closer. The exact text including the emojis read. "Ok baby?. It's saved this time! I'll be waiting fr fr." He was referring to when I'll see him again, an saving my new number.

Hope you're having a great so far! Coming from a Taurus woman who loves pet names on occasion, the capricorn man that I have been "talking" to since mid October, he has called me "bella" one time lol. Back then I thought I was getting friendzoned because sometimes he would flirt with me and other times he would talk to me like a friend. Then decided to come on here and ask for advice (refer to my one post), and people were kind enough to give me their honest advice. I chose to be a little patient(difficult thing to do) and see where it goes. Now we're still "talking" but now he'll send me random pics of him, video clips, send me kiss or heart emotes(not all the time) but quite a difference compared to how it was when we first talked as just friends. Unfortunately we have only hung out twice but we talk almost everyday. He likes his space a lot which at first I didn't like because I was so used to an Aries man who was so attached and catering to me, but I have to realize that people are different. This one is reserved one at times when it comes to opening up. And yeah he is incredibly attractive and single and who knows if he's talking to anyone else on this side, but that's a risk I'm willing to take. So my advice from me to you is take your time to feel things out. How long exactly have you been talking to him for? But what I have been told on here is Cap men don't open up or show emotions to just anyone, but I have also read on sites is that they can also be players sometimes depending on situation. Regardless for me, it's a new year and for once, I want to be patient, and hopefully this cap can be patient with me. He's been hinting very much for something that he wants from me lol, but he he's not getting that anytime soon unless I know more about him and can feel more trust for him. I base that on how much I know of you and how much I can trust you. So far, I feel like I only know 15-20% about him which sucks, but only time can tell on what happens. Good luck to you Leowoman!

A pet name is like what my scorp calls me when he wakes up "Tiny chicken" "Rusty penny" "My little waffle" shit like that.

Does he have aqua in his chart? I usually come up with pet names and then riff off variations. I think it's funny based on whatever the situation is calling for. I do the same with pets too. The last dog I had..had about 20 different names at various times 🙂

Lol, Leo girl. I'm a Leo, too! Couldn't help giggling when I read your post 'coz I've experienced those butterflies given by a Cap, too. No man would be even allowed to come close to me when I don't want it. Most men have only been given the chance to awkwardly smile at me and tell me "he he, you look beautiful" even if they quietly flirt in many other ways. But with one Cap that I've broken with now because he cheated on me, lol, I'd get those butterflies occasionally, too. He'd rarely do something lovey and dovey, haha, and silly little me wouldn't be able to sleep that night! 😛

But be Very Careful. For no other sign have I seen and read so many posts on 'silent treatment', 'hot and cold behavior', and the worst of all, passive aggressiveness or super secretive nature. And that's TOO MUCH for an outgoing Leo.

Cap or not, initially they are all nice. Don't get too deep into it soon. Be very careful for your own good. 🙂

Even if you do feel special, keep it to yourself. Don't give him a hint. Just go about it casually like you'd deal with any other man. From what I've experienced, if you ask this fellow why he called you that days or weeks later, he might tell you, "When?". Phew! If you take it seriously when he didn't mean it that way, later it'd be really painful. So take it light, dear.

Common names like "babe, baby, hunny" etc are pretty meaningless- I only say them if I know you value that. I wouldn't read too much in to them. I have given plenty of pet names to family members, I haven't given one to a S/O yet. I show my affection daily through the way I interact with you physically (and not just sexually). If that's not possible, then I'll let you know I miss you.
