I just found this - live 24/7 footage of kittens being cared for by kitten fosters in Illinois, USA.

From the description on Youtube:

If there is nothing going on, you can rewind the stream up to 4 hours to see action.

Brief FAQ:

- We are kitten fosters, trying to help rescued cats get adopted by loving homes.

- We're in Illinois, USA.

- Yes, it's really live 24/7... forever.

- We turn off the lights at night, but we have good night-vision set up. For the cats, it seems dark.

- We don't get paid for this -- we pay for this.

I get excited over the smallest movements ??

I can too. I wonder what it will be like very late at night because cats can be extra active at that time.

There's gotta be something about the darkness that activates something in their brain. I used to have a kitty kat who was so naughty at night. She would play with the toilet paper, deliberately press buttons on remotes, deliberately knock stuff off surfaces, that kind of stuff.

haha, yes, something really activates it seems.

Sometimes my cat is mischievous and that alerts me that she would like me to play with her.

Yup! I'd be asleep at night and then I'd suddenly awaken to the tv blaring. Tv time is one of the times I would play with her so I guess she was trying to recreate it.

lol, wow! Annoying, I can imagine, but very clever of her.

There are definitely some active times that are great. I've been tuning it a few times a day since I posted this. If there's nothing going on, or not much, sliding the time back works well, until high activity is found.

I think a lot of people wonder what their pets are up to when they're not around, and it really seems that the kittens go extra wild when there are no humans in the room, lol.

One of my favourite books is Charlotte's Web, and a part of me wonders if animals do in fact talk and/or do other human things if they either don't think we're watching or they truly don't mind. ๐Ÿ™‚

I find it very peaceful too. Even when the cats are the most active it ends up being calming for me to watch. I tune in a few times daily.

yes ๐Ÿ™‚

It has this very calming, real soothing feel to it.

Though I guess maybe this could be compared to if someone

were to peek in my home to spy on an animal just to feel good haha.

Never the less, I think this could help many people

say with depression or other mental illnesses.

It helps me

Sorry that I missed your post until today! My notifications didn't alert me for some reason.

haha, maybe you can set up a feed in your place.

I agree about it helping many people. I continue to tune in daily to see what's up.

Yes! haha, very twitchy ears. I always like that part (I've watched the video a few times).

Charlie has been adopted, I just found out. He's much bigger than when that video was shot. I found out his birthday - Dec 19 2016. He's a Sag with maybe Virgo moon (I looked at an ephemeris).

its okay ๐Ÿ™‚

I need to tune in now.

That is a good idea of me setting up a feed...

The dogs here... the viewers would die laughing of my

soft spoken ways and not being assertive when they start barking at visitors lol

haha, that might be fun. I can imagine people giving all kinds of tips about their way of doing things with a few dog whisperers in the mix.

Kitten Academy's Youtube channel also has videos with closeups of kittens playing, etc. that are published regularly. For example, this one was created on May 10 2017.

very cute - you know you can watch wildlife too

I've watched hawks nests and the polar bears on the tundra in Alaska, a watering hole in Africa - I saw the elephants come to drink ... it's all so cool what they can do these days ...

Her second night home...she likes fire. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Sheโ€™s 11wks old ๐Ÿ’–

No signs of much sickness so far, thank goodness. Lots of cute little sneezes though...maybe some allergies like her mommy aka me! ๐Ÿ˜„

In about 4months we will get a checkup to see how her leukemia is doing.

@GMFC - Sooo cute. Does she like sitting on your lap / being picked up?

Yes sheโ€™s clingy af ๐Ÿ’– we make a good pair!

If Iโ€™m at home sitting down, sheโ€™s on my lap.

If Iโ€™m at home laying down, sheโ€™s on my chest.

Do you have any cats?
