I love cooking. It’s therapeutic. I always make large portions and have other people try it. Hurts my pockets though

That's true, it looks very good tho! I'm sure I'd enjoy it, especially trying something new.
Just from reading that, I can tell you’ve never had dim sum lol
You need to check for some high rating dim sum joints in your city. It’s only done on weekends and it’s basically Chinese brunch so the earlier the better. It’s a different kind of experience though. Instead of getting a menu, you get a bunch of people pushing food carts asking if you want something. Every cart has different pairings of food. Also, the primary meats are shrimp pork blends, and shrimp or pork dishes. Variety is also very very high. It’s like an eyeball orgasm festclick to expand

I already have issues with self control 😩 So basically my eyes will be lusting to completely indulge in the food and I will lose control, eat too much aannnnnddddd you know what? My sister liked food like too so maybe we can go together. I dunno if I can trust the restaurants near by 🤔
it looks like the c
Wait. You didn’t finish your paragraph and now I’m hella lost lol
Is your city full of Asian foreigners? I would never trust a Chinese restaurant with no Chinese customers, let alone staff.
The good news is that the dishes are usually dirt cheap. They average $ 3- $ 5 per serving of a small plate and with 3 grown men (my 2 close friends and I) that used to go every Sunday, our ticket usual totals ~ $ 65click to expand

What's Shu Mai?
It’s a type of Chinese dumpling. It’s wrapped in a wonton wrap and stuffed with a pork and shrimp blend, then lightly garnished with caviar. It’s cooked with steam so it’s soft and delicate. Also, it’s pronounced Shoe My, if you’re curious.
Those are one of the top 3 items that gets ordered constantly so be careful when you eat it. You’ll burn your mouth because it’s always being made. You can google the image too. My table ALWAYS grabs a lot of those, as well as the mentions earlierclick to expand
