what the absolute fuck is going on with the tab titles?

I browse DXPs on a computer like a chad, and I open the threads in new tab. I noticed something very peculiar with the tab titles. They seem to make a summary of the thread topics, but using words and descriptions that haven't been posted by the OP.

It's like duncan is feeding our topics to an AI that makes a short summary and uses it ads the short description for the tab.

Or maybe it's firefox which does this shit, IDK

I don't have this. My tabs are titled after the title of the thread. Up top right meow it says "what the absolute fuck is going o"

After concerting with myself I came to the conclusion that the title of my thread was over dramatic and a bit vulgar. My apologies to all the family rating dxpers.

It doesn't concern every thread, but check out for example the thread with "A6" in the name by schizo #452 or the dxp neighbourhood thread
Also linux people don't slay anything, I use a microsucks winblows from two generations prior

I hate that AI is going to kill most of computing (not that computers really serve anything, but it was cool for us nerdds)

I think they're prepping for a mass influx of people

Some of the thread actually display a chatGPT recap at the top of the thread just under the title.

BTW, what happened to that sag user who seemed to be there only to promote chatGPT. I suspect she strucked a deal with duncan.

As they should. I hope AI is fully and completely utilized here on dxpnet. I also hope the main screen that says "Welcome back Soul." Eventually has a chat box where I can actually talk to an AI. It would be much better then trying to talk with boring ass old fucks like you.

DXP is probably running on a 15 $ 2nd hand Raspberry Pi on a 4 GB SD card - while the OS is taking a bit over 3 GB. The site and its db takes most of the free space - trying to keep it to minimum, to leave the users 100 mb of cache - to be able to post. If multiple users do it at same time - the cache gets full rather fast - so you're stuck while trying to reply/post. You just have to wait your turn for the cache to be freed. DXP dev is rather nostalgic - so he's trying to recreate the 2 - 5 Kb/s internet speed from the '90s - while using an ADSL connection.
