I dunno wtf the coach's problem is, but he needs to seriously revamp their style of play. This 5-4-1 bullshit isn't working, apparently.
It's sheer luck that they were fortunate enough to get out of the group of death with that performance. Hopefully they do some serious evaluation and make most of this opportunity.

Oh, let's not forget how he publicly admitted that the US won't win the World Cup. That's not something the team's coach needs to be telling everyone prior to the tournament. The US isn't a major soccer power, so the chances of them winning aren't likely, but you don't go around telling everyone that your team won't win.
