I have the kit, need to spit in the vial still lol I find that part gross lmao

i already know my family comes from Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Poland and other European areas. I have my family tree back to the 1500's i think, maybe even 1400's.

I was eh about it.

It only provided the maternal side of my family. No info on paternal side.

Them into given from my maternal side reads like any slave ship movie.

Statered at the Ivory Coast and than South Carolina.

It kinda made me upset because I won't be able to go much further because of bullshit slavery and jim crow laws blacks not able to read and write.

It's frustrating

YES! She did it through ancestry.com and was later contacted by an unknown sister who matched them

Appearantly she was adopted out but tracked her birth records and there it was same mother

I think keeping files about people without their express consent would be forbidden in a lot of countries?

This is exactly why I'm not doing that : you don't know who is keeping files about everybody's DNA.

I did it and i think it was a total waste of money. It doesn't go back very far and isn't very in depth and comes with no further details about anything. This is what i got...
