lol Im not surprised. I do get that sport fans, and especially soccer fans are opposed to change, but it's hard for me to understand how this is bad for anyone other than the national leagues. And I even have a hard time believing that is so bad. Because then smaller clubs could actually make more money I would think with bigger clubs out of the way
well actually let me tke back that more money thing. Im not sure of serie a teams could do so. But I think EPL and La Liga would survive well enough to still take in a lot of money

It's just clubs thinking "great now we don't have to worry about the pesky matchday costs of being actual promoters anymore, no no we'll just keep them at home. And the tv network can take care of everything else."

It definitely wasn't pretty, in the DXPIL games I saw.
Always a shame when the club takes the easy way out by firing a coach.
But after ten years you never know if some personal stuff just got stale and started getting in the way.
