Posted by happyface1Milk helps. I like the sensation, plus it makes me feel good after! 🙂
I will never understand why people like to eat things that burn their mouths.
It's uncomfortable and the burn lingers...water doesn't help.
It makes me angry ! When that burning sensation lingers...I blame my family for never cooking with hot sauce.
I just don't get it.

Posted by happyface1Thats a shame!

Since spiciness is actually a sense of pain rather than taste as it is often thought of as does this mean people who enjoy spicy food are masochists?

Posted by NemiliciousThe east were much more evolved. They understood how to use spice to preserve their food.
the only reason why people (over) spiced their food in the olden days was to cover up the stench of rotting.

i don´t mind spicey - but i like to be able to identify what i am eating and not have to guess.
