I like to be clear to avoid confusion. Sometimes i feel like they missed the part about me keeping them, so I'm going to have to start incorporating charts and diagrams into my interactions.

Usually they have to get me to warm up to them by showing their dependability and that they're "comfy" people to be around and harmless + trustworthy over time.. but once in a while (like only twice) I've known from the beginning just from who they are/their interests/and a feeling.. But both times I ended up being wrong after getting to know them. So I guess I really do have to get to know them. I'm still learning my lesson.

That is true, they do. What can communication not cure, it cures most things. Unless that is, if someone is trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. In which case, even if they shaved off the corners to fit. Something would still be missing.
You know you could always use ... diamonds (not a rock, but a mineral). Nonetheless, hard and quite shiny enough (to catch them off guard, a diversion).
