I understand the stutter, but to go on for like 3 minutes of nonsense? I'm sure its related to old age. The fact he has to speak fast is just in his nature at this point. Most people his age talk slower, and have to think ahead a bit about what they are saying. I feel he just starts saying words and hopes for the best at times.

I will say at both debates he was on top of his game though.

A lot of men have a fucked up relationship with saying “I love you,” hugging or kissing their parents. It takes a literal death bed for some to even utter those words of love.

One thing I’ve observed about Biden on the campaign trail and the last few days as he visited Beau’s grave, is his family.

He's 78.

And I know quite a few people who are past 80 and still moving around and still have their mental faculties intact. e.g. my dad's stockbroker. When my dad passed, she was 82 and still working in the SGX as a stockbroker (she still is to date, but will be retiring next year because her son died last year). Two of my clients at work are also in their 80s - one is English but lives on his yacht in Sydney, has properties in Thailand and Malaysia that he maintains regularly and was frequently travelling until Covid stopped him. He has health issues (cataract and a wonky knee) but he doesn't let that stop him. The other one is 83 and still runs his car grooming service. So at this point age is just a number.

Eh, i disagree. Yes I voted for Biden over Trump but as an overprotective mother, they BOTH set off alarm bells in my head if I’m going to be honest. Trump has actual allegations, Biden is a little too handsy but no allegations have been made. Also, it’s funny because I have this friend that’s an older, white southern lady. And she is CONVINCED the world is over. And she just texted me out of the blue today “They are gonna be the most arrogant people in the White House!”

And I was like LADYYY relax, Biden and Kamala literally have behaved with such grace and dignity. They haven’t mocked or ridiculed Trump—despite him deserving it. And they’ve been far more gracious to his base than frankly, I think they deserve.

Tbf Trump's administration exposed the cracks and weaknesses in the system. His presence emboldened the worms to come out of the woodwork to play. At least now the Biden administration can see what areas really need improvement and fixing.

Many of Trump's supporters have an intense fear of communism and China - it is this fear that's pushing them towards the right. I can bet that a lot of them don't even know who Hitler is or how he came to power, and even if they do, they don't think it could happen again. But history has a bad habit of repeating itself.

The ones I'm actually talking about are the refugees/migrants from Cuba and Venezuela, as well as Macau, HK and Taiwan.
