It says in the Quran that extreme views are not tolerated and they should show respect to people of other religions. I highly suggest reading the official biography of muhammad.

Posted by LillyPetalI am at work, I work for the U.S. Army; and I cannot check out any videos as my boss won't allow this. I do watch my local news and World News Tonight. So I will keep abreast of the news when I get outta here at 3:30 today. What I DID hear was that they found a perpetrator (suspect) who was taken into custody (I give KUDOS to the UK for finding such a person so fast!!!) while the "suicide" bomber died. Y'all HAVE to understand (and I'll stand on my soap box and use a megaphone) that when ISIS says it is responsible then they ARE! The Hispanic/Mexican guy that plowed his car into the center of Times Square WAS NOT reported by ISIS to have been "their" doing. I am Hispanic when I saw the news from Times Square (New York) on World News Tonight last week I KNEW in my heart it was NOT an ISIS related tragedy! HISPANICS do NOT sign up to do the EVIL works for ISIS!!!!!! Not steering from this topic, but again, when ISIS says it is responsible for a TRAGEDY believe them! As they are HOT tempered, egoistical MEN who do NOT pat themselves in their backs for something they DIDN'T do! Lol. Elle yesterday it was Taliban. Today it's ISIS and who knows what other groups are out there. The point is these groups feed people to become radicalized. They may not claim direct responsibility and I never said ISIS did. This person was still radicalized and without a doubt have links to these radical groups.
You said Muslim and that's the point she's making, that it isn't majority odds that just because you have a large Muslim community in an area in the West, that is is more likely to be violent. That's been proven.

I understand her point. But he was a Muslim. He was radicalized and he did kill people. These are facts
They are the facts being reported as of right now, you're right. It doesn't mean we should focus on Muslim communities at the expense of ignoring the persistent violence and potential for it from the majority of violent groups in the West. If we want to protect people, we need to focus on violence itself and not ignore the facts.

THE British-born suicide bomber whoĀ killed 22 innocent victims and maimed 59 others in aĀ sickening terror attack at Manchester Arena was a Man U fan and the son of Libyan refugees.
Salman Abedi, 22, who was born inĀ Manchester, was behind the deadly nail bomb massacre at the Ariana Grande concert that ISIS has now claimed responsibility for.

Good study done on whether or not Muslim nations are more prone to violence, and what the causal factors are, outside of religion here:
http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/2053168016646392
Abstract:
In recent years, most armed conflicts have taken place in Muslim countries. Are Muslim countries more war-prone? Not necessarily, if we look at data for the whole period after World War II. But in the post-Cold War era, most wars are civil wars and Muslim countries have a disproportionate share of these. This is not mainly because conflicts among Muslims have increased, but because other conflicts have declined. Muslim countries are also overrepresented among countries with high levels of other forms of internal violence, including non-state conflict, one-sided violence, highly repressive human rights policies, and countries that practice capital punishment. They also have a higher than average participation in interstate conflicts. This is not a āclash of civilizationsāāmost of the victims are Muslims. We list several hypotheses, apart from religion itself, for why this pattern has emerged, including colonial history, interventions from major powers, and economic and political development. Finally, on a more optimistic note, while many Muslims are exposed to violence, four of the five countries with the largest Muslim populations do not currently experience civil war.

Cops revealed the identity of the attacker, who isĀ understood to be a practising Muslim,Ā after raiding his house in Fallowfield today where aĀ forensic officer was seen holding a āKnow Your Chemicalsā booklet.
Cops are now probing whetherĀ Abedi, who is understood to have been known to MI5, was acting alone or as part of a larger terrorism network.
The second youngest of four children, his parents were Libyan refugees who arrived in the UK to escape the Gaddafi regime.
They are believed to have emigrated to London before moving toĀ south Manchester.
Disclosure: I'm not coming at you - I know you were just copying and pasting from a new source
but I stopped reading at he was "the son of Libyan refugees" and a "practicing Muslim"
Of course he was ?
How convenient for the US current stance on refugees and immigration
Le sigh as they say
Me too. If they claimed refugee status one can only imagine what their life was like. They came here wanting the best for them and their family. I'm sure they must be devastated that despite how they thought they could move on from their past perhaps their son couldn't which makes it worse because he didn't live through the shit his parents had to
i am not sure about the inner politics on Gadaffi from this family.
but killing him and destroying the country wasn't a real good idea from my POVclick to expand

Posted by CaramelizedCoffeeI don't need to assume. I am from Africa.
Just assume for once that you're from any of these countries, these people are living off your hard work, your resources, your life, and in fact causing CHAOS and strife for you.
That's some deep mental shit.

Posted by CaramelizedCoffeeI think you should take a look at China right now.
Are we evil?
We go into countries and destroy them
we've killed millions for resources
we target kill people with drones
we sanction people and destroy their economies so they can't produce and sale/eat
We kill democratically elected officials because the corrupt guy works with us
We set up tools like the IMF, UN, WorldBank to help 3rd world countries stay poor and not self-reliant by strategy, so we can take their resources.
evil is perspective
to me the evilest entities and countries on earth are:
Britain
France
America
Netherlands

āShe did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator,ā a stunned industry insider tells us. āAnd as soon as the doors shut she said, āI hope they all fāking die.ā ā
I wonder if this statement comes to mind when she reflects on what happened in Manchester....
