Of course you do. There's hope for anybody that wants to learn music. For serious inquiry in learning the piano I highly suggest self practice. That's how I learned the piano. Self taught, the same way I learned the guitar. It only took me one day to learn the piano whereas it took me years to learn the guitar.

If you really want to be serious learning this sort of thing then I would suggest get away from the internet's for a while. You can hardly never get anything accomplished and achieved being stuck here. I thank God the internet's weren't hardly around yet (especially this site) when I first picked up musical instruments.

I really think self-taught piano tutorials can be done. I've been doing this since 8th of September but with very limited time as I'm also busy with other activities. Tomorrow morning, I will pick up my keyboard again. I'm still trying to learn the chords. It's kinda hard doing the jazz but bossa nova's easier.

Study your scales and arpeggios. It’s boring but it is important. Make sure you focus on learning finger independence. That’s big in all music studies in general. Learn to read first. If you can’t read music, you will be severely handicapped. Reading should be the first thing you learn. For now, work on studying the chords and arpeggios in C major. Learn the natural, harmonic, and melodic variations of C major with good fingering and technique.

Well it's pretty darn obvious you must not be good at it and was learning to practice on it for many years and still hasn't figure out the piano. Otherwise you'd give the OP everything you know about the piano instead of giving him smart alec remarks.
