Special role townies only lose their powers for a day or a night, if Leia gets killed after they out their role.
Can Leia be lynched without them announcing their role and changing the lynch vote?
Well, if they have not announced their role prior, you cant really stop Leia from announcing their role, when they are about to get lynched, if they want to announce.

Personally I feel we should direct our attention to the mafia. Even if sassy is dj they are much less lethal then the bad team at this point. We need to focus on someone other then sassy in my opinion, and worry about that much later when the bad team is dead.

This was answered only in PMs, but a fake gun will kill Leia as well. She is only immune to attacks and her son. Shooting a fake gun, is not an attack. It is a choice, and self inflicted. That means, she kills herself.
