What you think you want..

Is it what you truly want?

Or is it something you were subconsciously preset to want by society?

Once you attain it will that emptiness inside go away?

What do you think will really make that emptiness inside go away?

It's what I want. Society has shown a disregard for what I want. The emptiness probably won't go away, but I will be at least half full.

Screw society. I'm curious to know what it is.

A good placement to look up for this is black moon Lilith. It’s not just about sex. It’s about who you are on a deep, primal level before society’s influence gets to you. It can be like a shadow side if left unattended.

I think mine is in Gemini and I don't really like Gemini energy so what does that mean? I'm a multifaceted hopeless being on a deep primal level?

This is why I don't think about what I want. It's an impossible question

I can say I want X but how long will that last? I don't trust that it's really what I want or that I won't change my mind so I don't even bother

I'm not good at setting goals and being driven in that way. I can achieve things but they sort of happen rather than being pre-planned as something I work towards through wanting them

The thing with setting goals is to set smaller achievable goals towards the big goal than to just focus on the big goal and end up overwhelming yourself.

I'm not empty inside.

Do you believe in an afterlife, or anything spiritual, or that we are just here for a short time and then it doesn't matter anymore?

Let me put it this way. Do you remember the time before you were born?

Cue after you die.

Oddly yes, but it's based off of the information that was left by those who are mostly dead.

So you consider life this short meaningless thing, but aren’t empty inside? So what's the point of anything? Why even care or try if it's all for nothing?

I find it fascinating to speak with people who try to make the best of things, but have no actual faith or meaning behind anything at all. People who are fine with the idea of living a short controlled life, then dying thus going back to not existing. It's almost like some kind of programming imo. Though it's probably much less deep then that, and mostly natural for humans to feel that way.

Time... short or long... is subjective.

I don't believe my time on this earth will be short. I take care of the shell I am in so that I will live a long time.

The point is to live and to live in the moment and enjoy your existence.

Too many of these religious types live, as you say, a controlled life. They deny themselves in the hopes that they will be rewarded in the afterlife. But then religion teaches you that not everyone makes it to heaven, right. Its conditional.

So it wouldn't be heaven to me if my friends and family can't join me. Sounds actually pretty hellish. Imagine spending infinite amounts of time just waiting on your love ones to show up. Then when you realize they aren't coming and your spending forever without them? F that
