When families get to happily leave the NICU after their long journey. Starting with dad coming through the doors with dear in head lights syndrome just off the hellicopter, to mom being released from the other hospital and reunited with baby the first time since birth, through all the surgery updates, ups, downs, big scares, delivering a med and catching eyes with baby as it smiles and giggles, to... graduating from the unit. Surreal little miracles. Most fufilling thing to witness.
That made me cry 😢

I love laughing, I hang around funny people like a crack addict, I also love people who have good hearty laughter. My little brother is an Aquarian and everyone loves his laugh, it’s so distinct and loud you will hear him on the other side of a club and he also has one of those two stage delayed laugh where he loses his breath for a while and then when he gets his breath back he screams lmao I’m smiling just thinking about it. You could tell him a joke and he will burst out laughing and then he will lose his breath for a while and you’ll think it’s over and everyone will go back to talking about something else and then you’ll hear him crack up all over again once he gets his breath back, he also falls down and rolls around hysterically. When we were kids I used to always and try and get that laugh out of him even if I had to hold him down and tickle the shit out of him. Everyone loves him because of his laugh and most Fijians have that kind of laughter, I used to laugh like that but then I got bitter and old and I don’t anymore haha.
Another thing that makes me happy is being in my warm bed when it’s raining outside and just rainy days in general.
Good sex makes me happy (obviously)
And the sense of being content makes me very happy
