Of queers

Of trans people

Of genderfluid people

Of non-monogamists

Of anyone who’s not Christian or religious

Of immigrants

Of people of color

Of performers

Of crossdressers and drag queens

Of sex workers

Of kinksters

Of other minorities and alt culture members

Of anyone who doesn’t act, look, dress, and live like your standard muggle population

We’ve been here for centuries, survived countless acts of violence fueled by phobia, and we’re going to remain here for centuries to come. Get over yourselves.

I'm not bothered but just maybe confused sometimes

Like do trans feel like the opposite sex inside or do they just "choose" a gender

Does being trans and liking ur original sex make u gay ( like a boy turned girl liking boys)

I have so many questions for trans people

They feel like and identify with the opposite. sex .

Sexuality wise, if you're confused, just remember that sexuality =/= gender. A trans person can identify with any of the sexualities, not necessarily those assigned by cisgender society.

Also bi people

Is it like ur attracted to both sexual organs

Or are u sexual organs not a thing.

Or is it basically you fall for a person then become attracted to whatever organ they have.

I get loving a person but sexual attraction is different

Bisexual here so I can answer these, but ofc I am not a speaker for every bisexual. Bisexuality is a huge spectrum, some people have preferences, some don't. Some are attracted to any and all genders, some prefer to date people with a male or female gender. I would say for most bisexual people who's sexual and romantic attraction match up, and can have long relationship's with whatever gender, it's about the person and the genitalia is an after thought.

I have a preference for women but at the end of the day it's about the other person's personality, their ideals etc.

And I'm not trans but being in the community I've gotten to know and talk with a lot of trans folks, as well as advocate for them.

Trans people don't choose a gender as much as you chose to be your gender. Basically their brain determines them as one gender but the body is biologically opposite. And no trans person is attracted to their pre trans body, even if they like it on another. In fact it gives them dysphoria. Lastly they are only gay if whatever they transition to only likes that same gender. So a trans woman who only likes other women is gay or a lesbian.

Why are you so triggered lately? Is there a backstory to why you brought all this up? It’s almost like you’re calling someone out specifically.

I just turned all of my filters off because fuck ‘em.

Also, I don’t even know your username and I’ve been on here for years.

People worry about others business too damn much. Also, people are so concerned about being considered “normal”.

Why is this huge push for forcing others to recognize others sexuality?

People want others to stay in their lanes while at the same time putting their business on the streets.

What’s so wrong with recognising other sexualities other than heterosexuality? The only thing that’s being pushed is heterosexuality. It’s shoved down our throat 24/7. For any example of non heterosexuality in our society I can give you 100 examples of heterosexuality.

Tbf I have encountered gay people who force sexuality on trans,bi and straight people. Not as common as heteros who do the same thing, but IMO it's a lot worse when it's being imposed by someone from your own community.

Sorry but this has always been a interest so I can't stop but

Isn't gender a relative marker of sexuality?

As in - "purpose of being born female is to reproduce with males"

As in "purpose of reproductive organs"

As in " preset to me enjoying meat😁

Praying no one get mad at me.

Um what I'm trying to say is if gender isn't = to sexuality wats the purpose of gender?

Yes that's a better way to say it😁

I blew your mind?! That's such a great thing to hear!

Well I wasn't offended. Sometimes people in the lgbtq people can be sensitive, not that I blame them, they have valid reasons. But I always try to remind people of intent. If someone just doesn't know and asks things in a seemingly insensitive way but with honest intent to know, we should take this as an opportunity to teach, to enlighten, and to not just shut them out or call names. Not to say you asked in an insensitive way, I think it was fine.

So thank you for being open and listening!😊

Yes, as assigned by society. I.e. You have female parts therefore your purpose in life is to reproduce with males and have kids to perpetuate the human race.

Do you entirely agree with that statement?

This applies to most of the list but I'm using vegans as an example. They don't just eat their salad and shut up about it. They tell you they're vegan and that you should make them special food (cater to them) or that you shouldn't eat meat (change for them). They can't they just have their own preferences quietly and leave everyone to their own. They're screaming "equal rights", "not fair", "I'm a victim" and demonizing everyone else instead of just eating their salad without making demands or forcing expectations of special treatment on others.

It's been done in tv shows like L Word and QAF.

QAF - some of their characters were heterophobic and transphobic - but I still loved the show because at least I got to see what intolerance in LGBT community looked like. So maybe that was the writer's purpose.

L Word was very isolationist and dismissive of bi and trans people. They weren't so obvious with their intolerant portrayals.

Honestly most of the people on that list cannot be compared to vegans. A lot of the types of people in that list have not historically had equal rights and fair treatment. There are places in the world where being gay or trans is a prison sentence, or even a death sentence. Even in more socially progressive countries there are still inequalities, hate crimes, violence, abuse, and high suicide rates. That is why there still needs to be a voice, a fight, an advocacy. Cause sometimes silence is as deadly as physical harm.

You'll find no problem here. People are people. "Period."

Same. I don’t even notice these things, and their existence doesn’t bother me.

I'm surprised at how much that isn't a thing here. I thought it would be a lot worse. There are a small handful of users on here who do apparently have a problem with the people on the list though.

Effortless springs to my mind.

He just needs a cancer woman to cook for him.

Haaaaa

Camp one or camp two? I forget which one is the good one or the bad one!

He has Venus in manboobs so probably. I think though his wife has Venus Aries.

He has a wife?! My condolences to her.

No that’s fake news. He got dumped.

He also told us that he’s a veteran. He’s also said he works in a uni. He’s also claimed to be a working in therapy.

Ahh ok. I guess that makes sense, I thought he was all MGTOE or whatever but maybe that was someone else...

He likes trolling people most of the time in dxp. So if he comes across as incel-like or MGTOW, he's trolling.

I recommend not taking him too seriously. Unless of course you insult his family.

Edit: I was talking about Ssupes, not the crazy fish dude.

I was really confused before that edit lol

Either way I take neither of em seriously, at the same time I don't take the whole "I'm just trolling" as a pass. Imo if you spend your free time being unnecessarily hateful like that, you're probably a big turd blossom anyway.

I understand in some countries it's much more serious but in western countries, people are complaining about dumb stuff like salad instead of just going about their own life. They don't just live their own way and keep to themselves. They try to push their own agenda on others. Heterosexuals do it to gay people and gay people do it to heterosexuals. They want their way to be accepted by the other instead of just being whoever they are and not caring what anyone else thinks. They try to rally up support and be pro or against something in masses and want the opposite side to change or adapt to them and be heard by them, instead of just worrying about their own life and letting others feel however they want about it. Anyway, that's what bothers me about it. That people make issues out of shit that's no ones business by making it everyone's business.

No one cares about them. I belong to one of these groups and I don't want to be defended or whatever. Live and let live.

Dang I miss the 90s early 2000s where no one would utter words like cultural appropriation or people having to say Im x or y and bullshit like that. Everyone is so self centered these days.

This! I appreciate PEOPLE who just do what they love and aren‘t insecure about it nor attention thirsty. Minding their own damn business.

Seriously, it has come to a point where vegans and them act alike. „Look here, I‘m vegan. I do this and this because I‘m vegan“

It‘s tiring.

I don't have much interaction with vegans in general, but with the few that I have come across, it was either very educational or bewildering.

I seem to notice that the obnoxious ones are usually the ones who embrace veganism as a life style choice, whereas for the ones who observe and practice it as part of a religious requirement (e.g. Buddhists), tend to not try to impose their practices on non-vegans.

This vegan acquaintance of mine invited me and a few other omnivores to her husband's birthday bbq, kept trying to force us to eat her tofu burgers, and I later found out she purposely delayed delivery of the meat for the bbq (which is one way she tried to force her tofu burgers onto us). We only started eating bbq meats around 9.30-10pm (the bbq started at 6pm). This woman was a vegan by choice, and she tried to take away our right to choose what we want to eat.

This was during the vegan protest at Hay Street mall. I was waiting outside body shop for alien, and this representative of the protesters approached me, wanting to talk to me about boycotting the meat industry as well as the benefits of veganism. I mostly listened, added in a few questions here and there. She seemed very nice and non-confrontational at first, but when I started asking questions she gradually became confrontational.

Normal human behavior. When you listen to people's stories - they're the nicest people you ever met (generally speaking). When you start questioning their stories - in disparagement - two things usually happen: they walk away or they turn aggressive.

I'm not bothered by anything listed, but I do have a tendency to prejudge people who are polyamorous in the sense that I tend to view non-monogamous relationships as less meaningful. Mostly because I cannot fathom the concept of being in love with more than one person at a time. I feel like someone would always end up getting the shit end of the stick in a polyamorous relationship. Plus I don't like to share.

Well, the preconceived notions (reasons) of yours that you have listed here absolutely don’t support the theory of poly relationships being “less meaningful”.

If anything, I’ve had more meaningful relationships and connections with people in the recent years, than I have had back when i was living the mono life.

Heck, I don’t even bitch about my relationships on here as much anymore, because there’s nothing to bitch about in that regard.

I just bitch all of you out, apparently. Lol
