...you can tell how sensitive someone is when they start to become overly defensive and then start to attack....it is a dead giveaway. I can think of three people who post here whose communication style is defensive and aggressive...two Cancer moons and one Pisces...i think there are a few more too.
My ex-hubs Pisces Sun was like this ... drove me bonkers because we just couldn't have a conversation without him getting all defensive and then backlashing ... it was just talk but he couldn't seem to see his part ... if I didn't agree with his opinion, I was wrong wrong wrong - even though I was just trying to point out that it was my opinion and that it doesn't matter that we don't agree ... gheezh! I will take understanding and compromising Libra any day over that !

When it comes to things like world hunger or socio-economic & racial inequality? Absolutely.

When it comes to relationships, it depends if that department is in abundance or lacking (EX: chill & stoic when dating a Cancer & a Pisces, total emotional mess when dating a Gemini & Libra).

When it comes to everything else, especially things that aren't exactly my business, it's whatever.

Being a Pisces Sun and recently doing my chart to see that I was a Cancer Moon really really overwhelmed and upset me.

Defensive certainly when I fell threatened, sensitive to off the cuff comments by people that play on my mind too much. Constructive critisicm is ok actually.

I really don't like being so watery and I struggle with self esteem at times, even though I am a highly independent, financially ok, house, car, job, good family and friends type person with no health worries. In relationships with men I struggle to maintain my trust in them and often think things will fail, which often means they do. The one area in my life where I feel highly sensitive in a negative way.

Don't like being a cancer moon ?

I'm a Sag with moon in Pisces.. I do get very emotional, I cry when I see the news and the suffering of other human. I cry when I get criticised by someone I deeply love. I've always been hopeless romantic and didn't know why (being sag with fiery nature and tactless tongue) I still get super sensitive. My energy is not grounded and I easily get affected by negative/positive energies that come into contact with mine.

Which makes me vulnerable. I do grounding meditation and setting boundaries to help with this.

Yes...I am very sensitive, but there's a lot of feelings I have that I don't verbalize if I feel it's unnecessary. I think the one trait Pisces moons share is being able to strongly communicate feelings with out having to say them. I love my Pisces moon friends. 🙂 I can also be cold and detached if I get hurt initially, so a person might think I don't care...but booze and tv and other miscellaneous distractions only last for so long before the feelings start seeping in.
Could have written this, myself. And I'm naturally drawn to other Pisces moons. Most of my friends are Pisces moons.

I made an analogy I like earlier, so I'm sticking with it. We're fishies breathing in a sea of emotions all the time. We can't stop feeling them. We can only close our eyes and pretend something else is happening. Eventually we have to open our eyes again and acknowledge it's pain we're feeling.

I'm Pisces sun too, and it's in first house, so it's magnified for me.

So you're a Pisces Moon and Sun? What's your wifes placements? Cancer Sun and what?

Can you explain more with "emotional mess when dating Libra" ?

What contributed to this? Was the relationship stable enough?

It was probably one of the most seamless & strongest connections I've ever made, if not the most, when I was dating my Libra ex. We connected in every aspect, from our outlook & goals in life, what we wanted out of the relationship, communication style s, and our personal tastes & preferences. The only thing is that we never connected emotionally (me: Pisces Moon, her: Gemini Moon).

I always felt more secure & stable with water signs because even though I felt my water sign exes were overtly emotional, I always knew how they felt & opening up communication usually ended in a mutual understanding, even if we didn't agree. When it came to this aspect with the Libra, I would tell her how I felt & she would over-analyze & speak as if she was an outsider solving a problem that didn't involve her, citing sources & examples of other people as if she was presenting a dissertation. I was kind of this way w/ my Cancer & Pisces exes (I would be in problem-solving mode), but I also was empathetic. Due to the lack of emotional availability, I compensated by becoming far more emotional than usual & it lead to both of us being dissatisfied: her no longer seeing me as an inspiration & motivator and me viewing her as someone I would like to emulate but I also felt she wasn't genuine; being a 'people pleaser' for the sake of networking with a dehumanizing view of people as assets.

When it came down to it, she wanted to build the foundation on dreams with everything else as complimentary aspects, I wanted a relationship of physical, emotional, social, & spiritual symmetry.

Oh wow, I couldn't imagine that working out, maybe with trine Venus-Mars compatibility but even then, that sounds like a rough road.

THIS has been amazing, refreshing and very insightful to read. You explained how Libra can come across to a T. I definately do think I can have trouble relating to others at times. My bf also a Pisces moon is very emotional but able to express it in a way that I struggle with. I love him very much and hope it's nothing that will come between us. Every other aspect of our relationship is great otherwise...I experienced the full extent of just how emotional he can be yesterday for the first time (i've known him since Sep) and it left me pretty shaken. I'm not used to it but i'm fully prepared to try my best to understand him and do the best for our relationship.

Yes, every time my Libra ex used anecdotal references, it was always other people & not something she experienced herself. It felt cold at times but I did appreciate her use of logic, but I also felt that if we're talking about us then examples aren't necessary. It was a wall that would never break nor could I ever climb over.

That's good to hear, at least you love him enough to try to understand, even if you might not feel the same way or even felt exactly what he feels like. Whether it's being empathetic or sympathetic, I'm pretty sure your BF would greatly appreciate that.

Every now and then, though... do you ever run

into someone who is also a bit closed off, but

you know they just need a little push?

Those are almost always interesting

yeah, if you wanna escape but you are young Fire sign full of energy, you probably dumb your mind with games. I had a game I played every night after work. it's been years I don't do it anymore. aging.
