From a relationship perspective: Based on experience with Scorpio Moon, Cancer Mars person and Taurus Sun person.
Its like waves. No, a high ferocious tide. And then it washes off. Only to come back after some time again.
From what I have observed is that they WANT total madness and devotion in a relationship. However, when THEY experience the same, they get scared of it and hate themselves for it. Because they think it makes them vulnerable.
Therefore, they stop showing affection or try to distance themselves so that they can get over that madness (or so they think). And when we (their partner/prospective partner) sees this, they think that the moon in Scorpio is not serious about them.
As a result, we start losing interest. THAT's when it hits the Scorpio moon person that they are losing a person who loves them and they start the "I am very serious about you" drama all over again. (While also blaming you with things like "How can you lose interest in me" and "why are you not devoted to me" )
The cycle thus continues.
So what I think is that they want imbalance. And the weight of love being heavier on your side. That is the only thing that makes them feel "secure".
In friendships : (what I feel)
They like friendships with genuine people who do not "pretend" to be someone they are not. They are good friends and will always help a person when in need, even if they do not stand a gain.Their friends are like their extended family. And they like people who like them.
Infact, be in relationships or friendships, they like/love people who like/love them first.

I can confirm going silent during overwhelming emotional situation. But it's not that I'm playing a game. It's just...we slow down a lot of times and people interpret this in wrong ways. And many people act like the world us ending(well..we shouldn't blame them) and rush us, which only makes us either breakdown/have an outburst or we go even more silent.
But honestly speaking, we just slow down. Go blank a lot of times... it's like, we just *stop* to let it sink in and it takes time to process. this is why i feel safest with Taurus moons.

I hold back emotionally and he fell hard and fast, he told me he was falling in love with me and my reply was "I'm almost there" (it was way too soon for me) instead of "OMG Me too, let's get married and have babies" he started playing the push pull game.
We split for a while, then he made contact and we talked about giving it another go. However, it quickly went back to being the same, loads of attention one minute and then not replying for a couple of days etc.
I can't play silly games so I had to say goodbye, for my own well being.

But before I get to it you'll pull me down again. Sometimes, you'll let me start swimming to the shore and dip me again. But if you ever get to the shore and they're not there, then they've swam to another deep end.
