If this place and the people are garbage, why share personal “achievements” here of all places, isn’t that what your personal Facebook or instagram is for? For people who actually know you to be shown how well you’re doing....or are garbage people from a trash astrology site worthy of the display?
I’m thinking that people who do this sort of thing are not actually living the life they think they’re portraying. It may be half truth but also half fantasy, fake it until you make it sort of real.
We’re all broken here imo.
I rarely ever post on social media or talk about what I’m doing now. I just update my job description and keep working and enjoying life.
I see it as giving oneself tickets that they can use later for internet credibility.
Show your status or image formation pics to ppl you usually debate or argue with, and there’s the delusion that one is better than the rest. Maybe they think the credibility of their opinions is strengthened due to material shit.

I just find this odd because identity theft is a thing and you don't really know who is watching your posting habits on the other end.
You just can't be too laissez-faire about such things these days.
At least on Fb, you roughly know who is viewing your posts, especially if you're the sort who puts your profile on private.
Most people over-exaggerate EVERYTHING.
There's a very small minority of people that are truly good or masters at something. And those are usually the humble kind (they rarely indulge in any form of self-praising). They prove-themselves through what they do - and others end-up praising them. Tho, yes - even their abilities are over-exaggerated by the majority (whom - in their lacking - are so impressionable). 😐
