Posted by hanslaudeHe’s stalked my FB before I deleted it. We don’t argue or have too many disagreements. I’m not an argumentative person. I’m very passive when it comes to pert stuff so I’ll kill the conversation before it gets to that point. Like I said before, he only disappeared once after a disagreement and he didn’t really disappear, I blocked every form of contact but some how a month or so later a text from him came thru and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Matter of fact, we’ve been closer because now he takes the time to really understand what it is I’m trying to say rather than just being defensive and responding. The one time he found out I was talking (via text only) to another guy, he lost his mind. He was not happy with me at all but I told him as long as he was still communicating with other females, I would not cut off my male friends. Do you want him to be someone he is not?
If you need things to be told to you, and he does not do that now, what makes you so sure he will change this in the future? It may become a serious breaking point in the relationship.
I think you either need to appreciate that he finds it hard to flat out tell you he loves you, because it's not an easy thing to say and he would rather show you, or think about it and ask yourself if you can live with that for the rest of your life.

I haven’t told him I love him but I have told him thatcinhave atrong feelings for him that are continuously growing. I also try to make sure that I’m there for him emotionally when he’s going Thur things. Mentally when he needs to vent. Physically as often as our work schedule allows us. I tend to his kids as I would me own when he brings them to visit with him. I show a genuine interest in everyone who’s important to him in his life. I’m trying to let it happen naturally. Thank u @Jayc3on and everyone else. He couldn’t hold off to talk face to face because he was to curious about what I wanted to talk about so we had our conversation last night via FT. I asked him his true feelings about me and the first words out of his mouth were “I love u.” Then there was a BUT! But I’m not ready for a commitment. I want to just continue what we have until I am ready. I asked what’s holding him back from a commitment and he said it’s because every relationship he’s been in he’s either ruined it from eventually cheating or the female changed and became to controlling. I asked if he was still communicating with other females and he said yes but he’s not sleeping with any of them. It’s just conversations to accupy his time when I’m not available (he has a job but 90% of his day is behind a desk replying to emails about project completion dates). So I said OK. He wanted to know what was on my mind but I wanted to end the conversation so I could process and think about everything before making a hasty decision. He wouldn’t let it go. So I told him that At the age answer place I am at in life right now, I don’t have time to be in limbo any longer waiting for someone to realize my worth. The fact that u need to conversation with other females when I’m not around let’s me know u will not be faithful if we were in a relationship. Long story short... I pretty much told him that we need to completely slow down and start to disconnect from each other in a way that it won’t hurt our kids. No happy ending but it is what it is.
