Posted by SssupesI keep thinking, "I'm sure he won't say anything more dumb than this.." and then.. *sigh*
Men have been accepting and have acknowledged said "flaws" since the beginning of time. Yes, it's call menstration and we know y'all have one. It makes y'all go full tilt at times and we know this and have accepted it.

Stop making excuses for her poor character. She's a compulsive liar, thief and in no way has any reguard for you as a woman.
A woman that shames a rape victim isn't a woman, she's the spawn of Satan and has zero empathy. 100% Psychopath
Are you saying that when we make mistakes its because of our periods, not because we're humans and humans are flawed?click to expand

Posted by Cancan26I can block whoever I want to. I didn't blame anything on a woman's menstration. I used it as an example because it was stated that men are not accepting of a "flawed" woman. Instead of asking if that's what I meant or she just said something rude to be a bitch. I'm not tolerating direct insults from anyone.Posted by Sssupeswhy is she blocked? ....your the one that every flaws women have can be blamed on menstruation? and when did hillary ever shame a rape victim?Posted by LibrasaurusrexSeriously? Posted by AliensusedourbogrollI wasn't making it a man vs woman thing. Men are part of society as well. My reply was taken completely out of context by 2 people. The one with the gigantic ego who thinks she's never wrong and loves to throw insults around like candy deserves to be blocked.Posted by SssupesSssupes this is not about men accepting flawed women, it's about society not accepting flawed women (I can understand why you think it's a man vs women thing though). Women can be just as capable of being intolerant of flawed women.Posted by Cancan26I can block whoever I want to. I didn't blame anything on a woman's menstration. Uuugghhh I really hated that she shamed that women who Bill raped. I know she's his wife but she could've supported him without shaming the victim.
As for the rape case she took, you might wanna check this out......

Posted by EnochtheWiseWell said.Posted by LibrasaurusrexThat isn't really what Clinton is saying. The woman who wrote this article wants to see this behavior through the lens of misogyny but its debatable whether or not there is any present. There are no "years of brutal misogyny" in Clinton's story - just an awkward moment in what was probably a traumatic time period in general for people of both sexes - particularly young men who did not want to die in war. And yes it is ok to have empathy for them too, even if they are white and male, during that kind of situation, and really to judge these kinds of situations properly, it is necessary that we do.
Essentially what Clinton is saying is that the stiltedness of her public persona is a kind of self-preservation tactic born out of years of brutal misogyny.

The criticisms of her public persona and her "transparency" go deeper than whether or not she expresses emotion. The FBI didn't investigate her because she had emotional walls up during her campaign trail. The fact that Clinton is warm around friends/family and a bit guarded in public may be better explained by the fact that she's a Scorpio (super common astrological stereotype that holds with every Scorp I know including myself), than some sexism-obsessed blog writer fabricating a profile of psychological trauma around an irrelevant anecdote.
Everyone keep blaming "the man" though. One day he is going to step forward and take full accountability for all the shyt that is wrong with you.

.....
In another Humans Of New York post, Clinton attempts to explain that disconnect by telling a story from her past:
"I was taking a law school admissions test in a big classroom at Harvard. My friend and I were some of the only women in the room. I was feeling nervous. I was a senior in college. I wasn’t sure how well I’d do. And while we’re waiting for the exam to start, a group of men began to yell things like: ‘You don’t need to be here.’ And ‘There’s plenty else you can do.’ It turned into a real ‘pile on.’ One of them even said: ‘If you take my spot, I’ll get drafted, and I’ll go to Vietnam, and I’ll die.’ And they weren’t kidding around. It was intense. It got very personal. But I couldn’t respond. I couldn’t afford to get distracted because I didn’t want to mess up the test. So I just kept looking down, hoping that the proctor would walk in the room. I know that I can be perceived as aloof or cold or unemotional. But I had to learn as a young woman to control my emotions. And that’s a hard path to walk. Because you need to protect yourself, you need to keep steady, but at the same time you don’t want to seem ‘walled off.’ And sometimes I think I come across more in the ‘walled off’ arena. And if I create that perception, then I take responsibility. I don’t view myself as cold or unemotional. And neither do my friends. And neither does my family. But if that sometimes is the perception I create, then I can’t blame people for thinking that."
Essentially what Clinton is saying is that the stiltedness of her public persona is a kind of self-preservation tactic born out of years of brutal misogyny. And while that doesn’t excuse the fact that she sometimes struggles with transparency, it transforms a dehumanizing flaw into a relatable one. It gives her a humanity that’s too frequently missing from the discourse around her.
Just as in order to understand Bernie Sanders you have to understand what it means to be an activist, in order to understand Hillary Clinton you have to understand what it feels like to face a lifetime of sexism."
