anyone else hate their moon sign?

I'm a Libra with a moon in cancer. i hate it. the Libra in me gives off this detached attitude but on the inside im extremely sensitive to everything. i can't be around people when they're mad or depressed cause i pick up on it instantly. i love Hard when in relationships and it takes me too long to get over them. the only people that knows this about me are people that are close to me...but i hide it as much as i can. when i'm down it's hard for me to pick myself up. this guy i used to date is a virgo sun cancer moon and he's so soft. i always find myself wondering if i come off that way.
if i can change it i would have a Aries moon. One of my best friends is an virgo sun aries moon and she's cut throat. she's aggressive, mean, and straight to the point. and she gets over men easily. she never seems to be down or depressed.

i don't mind it.

but my moon is conjuct my ascendent, and that's what i hate. bad moods make me look bad. and looking bad puts me in a bad mood. it's awful.

a lot of what you described sounds like it's just libra, though. we're much more passionate than we get credit for, but detached, like you said.

The pride in this man is ridiculous. Libra aloof mixed with Leo pride does not sit well with a Scorpio.

My moon is in Gemini which has been extremely difficult. Scorpio is very introverted and Gemini's a chatterbox.

Im a capricorn with a pisces moon. I know its one of the more "hated" moon signs,but I really like it. I think it gives me a good balance, and I'm not such a emotionally detached capricorn haha. I can actually be quite emotional,nothing over the top though :p.

I think I wouldn't mind having a Taurus moon, or a Sag moon.

meh i used to actually. im an aries with a libra moon but i think it calms down the feistiness. i am very emotional and little things can hurt me a lot but im really really good at keeping it to myself. i never have outbursts or cry or get emotional in front of people. self contained i guess you could say. i think that's way more libra than aries

i got a libra moon also. i feel the same way ewe. with all my virgo influence im so reserved its ridiculous. i show more emotion on dxp than i do irl. lol

I'm ok with mine. It's challanging to say the least but it's forced me to myself with a deep perspective. It's always a battle but I'm up for the fight 🙂

my libra man has a cancer moon, too. i am a gem with a cancer moon. i don't think it's a bad thing. emotions can definitely be intense sometimes, but the nuturing side of it helps us be something other than the typical libra/gem.

don't completely overlook other factors. like when females talk about their signs and say they're more emotional than they're supposed to be... ur still a girl. hormones and chemical make-up are still contributing factors. especially if ur a teenage girl! damn, i'm so glad i'm not one anymore... whew!

You know I use to hate my moon sign (Libra) but I've finally come to terms with it.

I'm an Aries btw so I have a Sun-Moon opposition (Libra/Aries are polar opposites) which means I'm always having conflicts between my personality and emotions but in the end they end up rebalancing themselves.

Playwitfire- You on the other hand your Sun-Moon is squared; therefore, it takes a lot more than rebalancing of conscience... I feel for you.

I'm an Aquarius with a Scorpio moon. I either love it or hate it. Changes day by day. It really depends on what's going on really. Makes me a super badass so I really can't complain.

Well everytime I look up moon signs,it always claims that Pisces is more unfavorable. I think I also stumbled upon a topic here about moon signs,and well...Pisces wasn't winning any prizes :p

I'm a libra with a cappy moon (libra rising). I gotta tell ya, it's the most affecting thing in my life. My teachers view me as the almost perfect and almost laziest kid they know. One day I'm working really hard and I look like I'm paying full attention and the next day I chat with someone next to me during her lectures. One day I'm this social butterfly talking to everyone and the next day I'm silent and in work mode. Also I have like 2cappy planets too and I feel very cappy like most of the time. Relationships always kill me because somedays I'm not shy at all but most of the days I get really shy. If I saw a girl and felt more libraish that day I flirt with her like no other. After we get to know each other on a personal level some days I get shy and create a little bit of tension. So to answer your question like a libra... No with shades of gray. Some moments I do like it since I end up working hard on what I enjoy. But it affects so much of my relationship dillemas. Also I attract a lot of water friends than air which is really weird. They get annoying as do I to them when my libra switch turns on. Also I'm very optimistic at points and then realllly pessimistic. My Saturn in libra also had contributed in relationships... My life pretty much sucks and rocks everyday... It's really weird.

I HATE my sun/moon/asc combo. Cancer sun/Virgo Moon/Pisces asc. I go from totally emotional to analyzing every emotion and having anxiety attacks to screw this crap... LOL Seriously. They say Cancers moods are like a roller coster... OMG with my combo I fight to stay sane. *rolls eyes*

i have a leo moon its cool at times the moon sign can be stronger depending on the aspects a have moon square pluto talk about intense and i have moon trine Uranus very independent and freedom loving and kind but detached so it also depends on aspects.

I'm a Pisces with a Taurus Moon. But I don't hate my Moon... how could I, with all the blessings it brings? My Taurus Moon seems to balance my Pisces Sun and Rising... adding some much-needed Earth to ground my ephemeral watery Pisces nature (and my airy Aqua influence from being born the first day of Pisces LOL) Pisces makes me changeable, bored easily, and a certain dreaminess and detachment... but the Taurus gives me practicality and a craving for stability and comfort and solid connections... so I would rather work my issues out than swim away from them. But it also gives me a double-dose of s-t-u-b-b-o-r-n LOL

Aries moon here, and I think it's great when you have to just go 'yo, fuck this shit!!!' ,and just power through whatever it is you need to get through, head-down ram style 🙂🙂

I love having an Aries moon.. only thing I dislike about it is the fact I can be hot-headed, and get upset easily.. and the fact it's rare to find someone who not only can handle my bluntness but respect and admire my passion. Sometimes I feel only Aries and Sag Sun and mooners understand me. Otherwise, My Aries moon is downright delicious, and I can totally relate to the "fuck it" mood, I love how I can easily let things roll off my shoulders and press on.. I just gotta remind myself that not everyone is built like a brick house regarding their emotions.. I'm the one people come to for support 🙂

Hahahaa. I admit I can be as bad as a Leo if I want something and i'm not getting it. Not all the time though, my Taurus is patient. If I know I will get what I want eventually, I'm good 😉 We can't help it, we're not supposed to be able to distinguish between a want and a need.. what the hell are those.. O_o?!

Actually, I'm not that bad - reading about it has helped as well as age I guess. I get very short and direct with people, at times, and have the patience of a gnat. But for a true friend and lover, I'd fight to the death for you and give you the shirt off my back.

I have to say guys, you don't know what a bad moon sign is, unless you have Capricorn for a moon sign. It's the WORSE one to have for a good love life. It's only good for success/career/money. For love, you suck! I can't tell you how much I dislike that.

I got a Pisces moon. I didn't like it at first but it's fine. I'd really be complaining if I had a Libra moon, or anything Libra with strong influence.

I guess the water in my chart has a lot to do with why I feel like that! Yeah I am Cancer w. Pisces moon and Gemini Ascendant. BUT I don't always feel so emotional, I've learned to control it. 🙂

I think having a Gem moon suits me well, no complaints here.

I always loved my moon (Gemini) matched with my sun and ascendant (Pisces and Aries respectively)

I'll chime in as another with a Gem Moon. That in combination with Virgo Sun and Leo Ascending is wondering when the hell I'm going to explode.
