Aries Woman + Aqua Man: can it be salvaged?

I've been seeing an Aries woman for the past four months & am starting to develop real feelings for her but it seems like what we have is over because our last fight soured things so much. It was her birthday this past weekend & we went out almost all weekend & it was great, but this week she's been distant. She barely talks to me now and I haven't seen her in a few days even though she's been in the area. Is there a way I can rectify the situation? I already apologized for my part in our last fight. She did get extremely mad at me for that. We've had a few fights & tension & a bunch of miscommunication over the past few months. But usually we resolved them & went back to enjoying being around each other. Should I just give her space & let her come to me?

i’m not sure :/. we mostly get along tho, we both are able to let things go....except for seemingly now

she also had some jealousy issues that caused fights. but now the fact she doesn’t give a frick where i am or who i’m with is causing me to think she’s tryna break off from me without saying anything to me about it

thank you. nothing bad happened on her birthday, and we were out pretty much all weekend. that Sunday we go brunch & went to the zoo. it was really good. i’m just not used to someone completely going silent like this when they were sooo attached & constantly hitting me up

i’ll just go back to chillin lol 8)

I think you left out some things, you are saying its a situation where you dont know what you have until its taken away, then you said she got jelaous, then that she used to be soo attached and hitting you up all the time...

we just had a lot of miscommunication. on my birthday she spent all night thinking i was ignoring her for my ex just because i talked & was friendly with my ex, then told me i ruined her night (it was my birthday!!!). she brought my birthday back up when it was her birthday like her even being there was a gift to me which started another fight because it was a horrible night. we were good after that but then she started getting distant.

we had a really good talk a few days ago but then just fought because she was ignoring me & not communicating suddenly in the middle of a conversation. she claimed she was trying to sleep but she never said “hey i’m going to sleep” she just ignored me & stayed active online which made me furious. granted, it was dumb of me to poke her because yes it did start another fight but. the whole thing is dumb. the distance between us just sucks.

If I understand correctly, are you saying that you are trying to put forth more of an effort than usual because all of the previous relationship fails? Are you saying it's usually your fault?

i do believe there’s real compatibility which is why i’m trying. and it has been my fault in the past. not opening up enough, being stubborn etc. i feel like this *might* still be salvagable though. idk. i truly hope so

Give me your worse examples - one of you being dead wrong and one with her. Don't cheat and say exactly what was said.

Cause one minute you know it's you but when faced with dismal outlook, it's both of us. And, this story is familiar.

Failure to fully own your fuckery is sure fired ending. It's super annoying when being the one wanting to stay together.

From your above statements, it seems as though you maybe taking her for granted. Entertaining an ex while spending quality time with your current is inconsiderate.

Sounds like both of your egos got involved on this one^. Also you argue, then renege. Stand your ground. You're not maintaining your stance once she distances herself. Whenever you have a disagreement with her make sure that you are respectful, but not a pushover just for the sake of harmony. Know that if it becomes an argument, she may walk away and you have to be ok with that. Basically determine what's more important in the moment, your convictions or holding on to her.

Also, be proactive. Constantly apologizing for things after you do them becomes draining and comes off as if you are making a mockery out of the relationship.

Basically going forward, let this quote guide you when dealing with women "She wants to be loved with an honest tongue, a devoted heart and exclusive eyes."

I can explain how this quote applies to everything above tomorrow, if it's not evident to you.

Take all of this in, learn your lesson before you try to get her back.

well, let’s just say this one did not get salvaged. we broke-up so she could get into a new relationship (with a Gemini? she made it a point to tell everyone lol) a mere three days after our break-up. i just deleted her off my social media today. it’s been hard. what a mess

she most likely had been testing the waters for at least a week or two which might explain why things were so tense & why distance happened. she wanted to feel like she had to cut & run so she could just get with this dude. i knew something was up but she denied it & lied to me instead of being honest (which is all i want from someone). it sucks because we were so compatible & she told me she cares for me & we have a connection but her actions are wildly disrespectful. we haven’t talked since we broke-up

i appreciate the insight. communication was our major downfall & something i will work on in the future. who knows if this Aries is ever coming back but the way she handled this was not good at all
