When to give flowers and the reasons behind it
Flowers are commonly given to express love, appreciation, or apology. They are suitable for romantic occasions, to make a good impression, or to show gratitude. Timing and intent are important, and understanding the reason helps choose the right flowers and moment for giving them.
i give flowers whenever the F i feel like it. i dont need any cliche reason to give them.

I just bought flowers an hour ago. I'm going to give them to a friend when I see her for dinner. It's for her bday. I love flowers. The florist that I bought the bouquet from gave me a rose🌹and it made me very happy. 😍😍😍

Agreed. I think it’s sweet if it’s from the heart not expected. But I question the intent... hmmm first date is that weird or sweet or trying to make a good impression? If you did something wrong, are they apologizing or are you trying to win them over? Now when my 19 yo gives me flowers on Valentine’s Day it’s ❤️❤️ I got twice this week lol haven’t for years from a guy. So am like 🤔 why—? 😂

Yep!!! 😁 I question it ever since my first husband would bring them home when he was in trouble but never just because.. I was young then so 🤷♀️ Take me motorcycle riding or hiking and exploring .. 😍 but it’s really sweet when it’s from the heart.

I'm not an arranger but I do know the meaning of colors to prevent any misconstrusion in anyway........ie friends, fb and lovers

I’ll have to pay attention to the colors. Hmmm makes me think about the Pisces. I think his was pure just because he likes to do that sort of thing. It wasn’t red or pink! Lol
Never. I hate flowers and think they are a waste. I’d rather give a tree or plant that can be repotted or replanted.
I also never think to apologize with a gift. I’d rather it be very straightforward with no distractions to make it be accepted in a better way. I want the other person to accept it because I’m saying it, and my intentions are true. Not because they like what I’m holding in my hand for them.

I used to get flowers for people I was interested in spontaneously but that pretty much ended on a Valentines Day when I brought flowers to who I thought was my boyfriend only to be turned away at the door by his grandmother who he lived with. He was getting busy with his ex come to find out so it hasn’t been something I do since then. Just haven’t thought about it I guess after that. All the better though bc it’s better to know someone’s true self before getting too involved. I’d consider it again now if I had a love interest.
I do gift living plants more now to friends and customers. And one of my fav baby shower gifts ever was a little succulent and gemstone to remember them by!

I did. I removed myself from the situation & said I don’t want to date anymore. First he offered a romantic dinner then apologized half-ass like then asked to be friends. A week later I got a real apology, and he told me I was completely right & right to take myself out of the situation. I agreed to go to dinner tomorrow night like friends. And now he’s sending flowers.. friends? Lol He’s acting like he wants to start over actually..

I agree that all signals do lead to him wanting a restart. Go to dinner and definitely enjoy yourself but let him know what you expect going forward.

Yes. The flowers are pretty 😁 and he asked for a fresh start, and made a real apology today. So we shall see how tomorrow goes.
