My parents: Aries Female, Libra male, married happily for 25 years now

Scorpio female and Gemini male?? Wow.
I believe the Aqua/Cancer. One of my best friends had this combo going and well I'm a Cancer and my bestie is an Aqua.
My family is full of long marriages and no divorces and their compatability is all over the place.
My grandparents were married 68 years when my grandmother died and they were aquarius/capricorn.
My other grandparents were scorpio/cancer.
My parents are near their 30th and they're libra/leo.
My aunt and uncle on one side are Sagittarius/Leo and on the other side aries/libra.
So there's trines, sextiles, semi sextiles and opposites.
I think any pairing can work if the two people are willing to make it and really believe in it. I don't believe love is sensible enough to only exist and last in 'compatible' couples.

All of these are compatible but the Aqua/Capricorn. That's just so interesting.. but it makes a difference if the Cap is a male or female, big big difference so its possible. The women are very optimistic and give good energy in general. All your pairs are compatible so far though.

All of yours compatible as well. I don't hear of the Gem/Gem match too often. I'd think they'd have a lot of fun together though. I haven't seen any Aqua/Gems together though either. One match I'm interested in hearing of is Pisces/Gemini. I want to know if they've ever made it.

In the aqua/cap relationship the cap was male and aqua female.
There's a lot of questioning it seems on whether opposites are compatible or not. Some say they're too different, some say it's just passion and lust, some say they balance each other. Personally I think it depends on the maturity of those oppoites. If they get it right then they really can balance each other.
All of those marriages aren't just long term ones either but happy ones. There's never been any major problems. My cancer/scorpio grandparents were infamous for arguing with each other but they would argue with anyone so it wasn't unique to their relationship. It was just who they were and they always made up.

The whole point of this thread is to speak on the happiest and longest lasting relationships from the people YOU personally KNOW. We all wondered that. He took care of her in his will. She wanted it very badly. She threaten to leave him, she did leave him twice but they remained together till the end.

Aquarius male & Aquarius female - Weren't the happiest, but long lasting.

22 years ago a Libra male and I fell in love. We were both military and got separated. He found me again 4 years ago and we have both made a pact to always be friends. I still love him in a way but he's married and has a family. But the energy between us is still the same as it was back then. I think we'll be friends forever... I do think Gems and Libras are a great match; however Libra can sometimes be controlling and most Gems aren't having that! OH and we NEVER have a hard time communicating--never have and I don't think we ever will!
