I'm not about to bash you OP for whatever you did, its not my place to judge. But imo, with my past breakups i made sure to commit myself to the outcome of those situations. Personally as a Man, I've flirted with that dilemma about wanting to pick stuff back up with a previous ex but I never liked the idea of succumbing to a lower mind-set and compromising my self-respect in order to obtain whatever it is i wanted.
