They are genetically different and have different needs. I can see why males would like this arrangement (having sex without responsibility that comes with a relationship). This concept was surely started by a male because it's in his favor. However, women are getting short end of the stick in this arrangement. Women, biologically, want to have children, get married, nurture man/child, cook etc. Look at a child, girls play with dolls, cooking sets, baby dolls and play their mommy. That's her innate disposition. Men are by nature reckless. Consider their childhood: cars, GI Joes. The reason a male seeks a woman is sex,some nurture and at best a child. Men want heirs to their throne or to carry their name. This concept will not only ruin a woman's psyche, but bring our society in total chaos with all these demented women walking around. Women are deprived of their needs in this concept andthgs the problem. Women perceive sex differently from men and they aren't programmed to handle such a complex. This concept is just setting them up for a major downfall for competing with men. "If you can have sex without attachment, so can I". Nope, you wish. There are exceptions to every rule and there are very few women who can do it just like few men out there who can't handle fwB.

Of course a dedicated and faithful marriage is far superior. Nobody romanticises FWB here. This is a transient type of relationship which happens when people want sexual intimacy, yet can't commit to each other. For example, one is emotionally unavailable or planning to move elsewhere in the near future. It's actually quite uncomplicated when people state clearly from the beginning that they won't commit and the reason why they won't.

Actually, all the examples that you gave with toys is a false belief. The toys children play with are societal constructs. Kids will play with whatever they want. Girls don't always play with dolls and boys don't always play with GI Joes. It's mom and dad/society stopping them from doing so. YOU CAN'T PLAY WITH THAT. IT'S NOT A TOY MEANT FOR YOUR GENDER!! It's not completely based in natural anything, just what society believes is the "correct" toy for that child.
This is also the same society who dictates what is and isn't correct behavior for these genders, all of which are still old perpetuations of outdated mindsets.
Example- women who want to treat the dating and relating game like men do. They're outcast. But men who do the same thing are just being men and that's what they do, so it's okay.

However, in regard to FWB, it takes certain people to handle it. That's it. Some guys can't handle it, and many women can't. Mostly because of how they handle sex. Others can. I find it disturbing there are so many naysayers out there who bitch and moan and project their feelings on the matter. If it ain't for you, don't worry about it. Nobody is forcing you to do it.
But the main issue in many cases is that women are getting into it for the wrong reasons and it's why they can't "handle" it. They need to understand that they can't and should just back away and drop the guys who propose that bs to them.
I may have/had fwbs, but there have been several instances where I had guy friends approach me on the matter and it was rather insulting. I felt that I barely knew them, was not attracted to them at all, and it was insulting that they thought asking me something outright like that was okay.

I closed the thread because of how much swearing and name calling you were doing rocky. Also you were twisted my thread into something it wasn't. Sagstic disagreed with me 100% that wasn't the issue. Yes and I have finished my Karma and due to this I am free of Karma. Due to being blessed I am going to Hell and Hell states that I may be better off with FWB than anything else until I pay off my Debts I owe to 'Society' not Karma as I have already done this.
Also i am only fighting for people for the freedom to choose a FWB if it works for them. I dont see how that can not work especially if the two involved work towards that common goal.
Also I must tend to differ in the FWB scenerio I dont think it will work for me I am too far out for that and consider even that FWB a restriction and I dont like restrictions even though I totally get what other people are on about when they speak of such things. I personally do not fit into that category of being holed down and into what others think of me. I have to see what 'Hell' thinks of that and if i can somehow make it work for me but that depends and I may not be so fortunate, as it will be a grueling feat to have accomplish this.
I am treading my own path in a aroundabout way that is totally out there and not many people would truly understand this of me however I find there are some along the road who are more than willing to offer themselves as a guidance so as to help me when the times are tough and whatnot and its these folks who have done this for me and there's of them ,men and women, from all walks of life that I owe much to and since i have payed my Karma off and have the opportunity to go to Hell, I am taking it upon me, myself and I to pay back what I owe to these blessed people who have helped me in their own way along the journey as well as paying my Debts off to 'Society' and also other things like finishing what I start and doing all the little things that must done in order for the larger things to keep moving along.
So theres alot involved and I am more than happy to go to Hell I may get more than I bargained for.
