Probably bored but why reach out to me she never wished me a Happy Birthday or Merry Christmas so why a Happy New Years also, it would of been 2 years New Years eve that we got together.

After reading about your saga with the Gem lady, I can only hope that you go NC and block her. If you keep trying to unearth hidden meanings on why she is reaching out you will jeopardize your future and every relationship you will have
Who cares why she is trying to contact you? Most likely, because she knows you loved her and she can manipulate your emotions to suit her needs. You could be anything from an ego boost to someone she can keep around when she needs attention
I was involved with someone like that a long time ago and kept making excuses and imagining stupid s*** when all alongthe guy was with someone else . He only used me to make himself feel better and good about himself. Looking back I must have seemed an easy target
When I went NC he tried a lot of tactics and false promises to pull me in and when I responded after a few days it was the same old story. I listened to people
on here and finallh blocked him and moved on. Best advice I ever took. Hope you do the same and stop analyzing everything

So I had a message on new years eve from the Gem two text messages and 1 message on WhatsApp obviously hoping I got the message.
She text me saying Happy New year, 😊 I wish you the best year for 2022.
So I replied saying thank you same to ypu but my phone made me spell you wrong so I put * to you back to correct my spelling and she then replied To me. I then said what do you mean and she said the chuckle brothers then I said yeah I thought that's what you meant lol to me, to you, for anyone that knows who I'm talking about will get the joke.
Anyway I left it at that then an hour later I had another message asking how my night was going?
So I replied yeah good thank you how's yours ?
She said its okay however she had covid and has to stay at home and she's kid free first ever new-years but cannot go out.
She said her Gin that she's drinking is going down very well and that she has first dibs on the music tonight but she said her entertainment can't sing very well and they can't hold a conversation.
In other words sounded like she was trying to make me jealous and rebellious or something who knows but I replied good for you 😊. Anyway it came to midnight and then she text me saying Happy New Years Sam the man and I replied Happy New years I thought I was always a boy in your eyes because she's said in past arguments that I'm a boy lol and then she replied I will give you that one 😅.
Why did she bother to reach out was it out of kindness or to see what I was doing I do not understand what the whole point in it was as I haven't heard anything from her since and I deleted her number when I told you guys I did weeks ago obviously she hasnt deleted mine.

I mean it's attributed to "narcissists" but really this behavior can come from anyone since these behaviors are typically practiced by someone who has unchecked narcissistic traits...and the vast majority of us (re: likely all) Have at least one narcissistic trait.

I've been looking a lot into narcissistic people attracting empaths and vice verse. So do you think empaths are still capable of the "at least one" narcissistic trait? And I am asking for your specific thoughts on the matter and not just a text book generalization 🙂

I have listened to it I have stayed away and spent time with the Aries and will continue to do so as I am valued by her.
I haven't reached out at all like I said I wouldn't she come to me.
The one thing I struggle with was the connection we shared you could really tell there wasn't anything superficial about it, it was like we were looking into eachothers souls I can't really explain it.
I don't have expectations of why this and why that anymore what I was trying to say was I must of been on her mind for her to reach out on New Years 🤷♂️ anyhow I'm not going to loose sleep over it.
If she wanted to talk properly to me she would of done so she's too stubborn and stuck in her ways of thinking she's right and her way or no way it's all a front anyways she's opened up to me a few times saying I act like I'm all strong etc but I don't really have anyone and then called me her guardian angle etc lol even that proved to be bullshit if she really felt that way she wouldn't be silent now I walked away out of respect for myself as I didn't want FWB or to be messed around with she knew I wanted a stable relationship and after all the past relationships she's told me about what she's been through I gave her stability and loved her kids yet its still not enough lol I don't think she will ever find what she's looking for however it's not my concern anymore .
