I do agree with you lisa...most people don't know what love truly is...they want to posses that which they love and to truly love means that you don't posses. I think that when someone loves you and you love them back you do hold that persons heart in your hand and they hold yours but you nurture it, protect it, encourage it, heal it, etc... Women that do this whole getting pregnant to keep a man never really truly loved the man or the baby because if they did and he didn't love them back then they would let him go because they would want him to have happiness and true love in his life even if it meant it wasn't with them. I honestly think they are just selfish people who are insecure and don't know how to really love. They just want what they want and don't care what they have to do to get it. :/ And if they loved their baby then they wouldn't want their child coming into the world because of lies and manipulation.

Then take another pill to help with that. Condoms break more than pills do, more like put your health at risk so you don't have to be mommy. So where men should put something at the end of it women should take a pill, or have the child, or get a coat hanger. Grim, but that's the reality there.

I know of someone who claimed condoms never worked. ...because he didn't like using them. Then, for some magical reason, his wife's birth control wasn't working either (she was using the ring). I don't think she was using it properly as well. ...how I don't know since the ring is pretty effing easy to use and hard to screw up.

People are crazy. I get the personal protection and responsibility thing, but serious, monogamous relationships eventually lead to trust, and alternative means of contraception. Who wants to wear (or wants their man to wear) condoms in a committed relationships? Not me, and not any woman in any serious relationship I've been in. Eventually, that nonsense gets tossed aside, thankfully.

Thus, trust is born within the relationship. She's going to take the pill, you love her, she loves you, and you're on the same page -- no kids.

The woman can change her mind and deceive, happens all the time, unfortunately. Maybe she feels the relationship is in trouble and slipping away, and in desperation to hold on to it, she decides to get pregnant. Oopsie!!! That's a trap by my definition.

And, IMO, it's most certainly a financial trap, if you hadn't planned for it. Say a $ 1000 bucks a month, for the next 18-20 years, medical expenses, dental bills, a car, extra curricular activities, college, weddings, etc.
