Apple set to release the iPhone 15 series and Watch series 9.. are you gonna get them?

Who here is an iPhone fan and considering getting the new 15 or the new watch series 9? Which model are you looking at? What phone do you have now? Why are you considering buying this year?

Help me understand... as an avid Android fan...

I have IPHONE 11 and I’m pretty satisfied.

I hear it’s gonna cost $ 799 and I’d rather spend that money on a travel experience.

I have a clever way of getting people with the better phones to take pictures and just send them to me. Lol

I don't pay more than $ 150 for a phone

I have the 14 and I don’t see much of a difference for the 15. I have the 8 series watch and there’s also not much of a difference between them.

I’m not going to upgrade until iPhone has a new model that integrated for chatgpt - with predictive AI assistance 😆.

I'm not interesting in it at all. All these man made material really ain't nothing but trash including what I got. None of these phones last forever.

The biggest thing to note here is the change from lightning to USB-C when lightning is designed better electrically and mechanically more robust than USB-C baseline

I can’t tell you how many android phones I’ve had with broken USB-C ports after 1 year. Granted this was years ago so maybe it’s improved but the ports just don’t stand up to lightning ports 🤷🏼‍♀️

There’s a lot of bullshit articles on the internet by self proclaimed tech gurus comparing lighting to USB specification, like as if anyone’s going to be utilizing 40 Gbps on their cell phones any time soon.

Electrically and mechanically, the lightning port is way superior

I don't care what brand as long as it does what I want. I must be able to multi-task so I have chosen androids that fold and split screens - multiple screens. I be getting it, LOL. LG V6 and now the Google Pixel Fold. I was thinking about the Google Watch but it's just not pretty enough to put down my other pretty watches. Then, I said maybe while you're working out or something and that's just stuff for stuff and making me feel more bourgeois.

I am anti-iPhone all the way. Just name brand hypnosis. I do buy iPhones for my children as that is what they want.

I only do Xiaomi now. Got the 13 pro and I'm pretty satisfied. It's working very smooth,the camera is the bomb,and the battery charges fast 🤩

I don't do Apple no more,not even Samsung.

Maybe they are too long around and bore me with the same story. Considering the price they are still low quality to me.

Yeah... if I ever switch to iPhones, I'll just buy an SE lol. It's the cheapest one.

Iphone is good for messaging and has a better touchpad than anything android.

But it has zero flexibility unless jailbroken.

Even the new one is much the same as the predecessor. Blah.

No, I have the iPhone 12 now and will probably keep it until it stops working. I’m always tempted by the newest ones that come out though. I just can’t justify spending that much money right now when mine works perfectly fine. I’ve always been an apple fan though. My very first phone after the flip phone was an apple and it’s been apple ever since. My brother is the opposite….he’s always been a loyal android user, but I recently converted him to apple and he now has an iPhone and likes it so much better. 🤣

If I were to ever switch to Apple, I'd get the 13 just because it comes in pink. That's how dumb I am, but that's also how easily Apple is tempting me LOL

I have a 13 Pro Max that will be paid off by the end of this year. I'm good with having a $ 50 phone bill...

I had to downgrade to an iphone 11 starting back in March since my kid ruined my iphone 12 mini.

I have been looking at the iphone 15 just because it's pink and mainly cause it has all the new features and down the line IOS is just going to be trouble with old iphones.

As for the watches, I only used them since it's more convenient to text back while at work and looking at the time I haven't upgraded my 4th generation series.

Just like all the previous ones - no. I'm an Android user and will keep it that way. When I hear the struggles my friend keeps having over iPhones I really never want to get one😅 my bf got older one and it drew him crazy to just set it up...I hate unnecessarily complicated things when you can have perfectly simple thing that does everything the same - and beyond that.

I don't have the patience for iOS software updates every other week that people have to do to get their cell service back on. That's just ridiculous to me. And I'm really not a fan of how restrictive Apple products are. Android products are less rigid. And you never have an issue texting iPhones from Android phones. I have a coworker who has an iPhone and she can't get my calls or my texts but she can get text messages and phone calls from iPhones. And you pay $ 800 for an iPhone? That's crazy to me.

The 15 pink is prettier though... and I like the finish/texture on that one more than the texture on the 13. Also the 15 has the dynamic island and the 13 has the notch lol. That's such a minor thing but I'm picky.. I'll pass. 😭 And I'll stick to my Android lol
